Superb video John ,the reason why i love watching your fishing s that 1mm too small it goes back ,wonder how many don't , this is why i always say to fishermen on the beach to watch this channel .
Your site just happened to pop up one day and I watched it because you were walking the shore live. That is something I love to do but only get the opportunity every 5-6 years. Since that day I have been a fan. I learned so much about fishing. With every episode, I'm more and more shocked about how much actually goes into the science of fishing. I truly thought you just bought any pole along with whatever bait you wanted to touch and threw the line in the water. ( go ahead and laugh, I never fished). I'm also impressed by what a wonderful Father you are! You give your children a wonderful gift by being an example for them in family values, ethics, and moral behavior. I hope more dads around the world take notes.
Thank you Patricia, I don't profess to be very good at anything we do ( fishing or fathering ) but I do my best and share what I know in the hope that it helps. Best wishes to you and your family and have a lovely day. 😊
Did well, mate. Hand hauling crab pots is no joke, and doing it 'single handed', is as tough and as dangerous, as it gets. I know this because a few years ago, my brother and myself, used to work our own Orkney Fastliner, in the River Humber and down the coast to Chapel Saint Leonards. So total respect to you mate. And 'by heck', watching your vids doesn't half bring back some memories, mate. One crazy but true story, was wen wen was 'steaming' out of the river at full speed, which was about 20 to 25 knots. Our boat was empty, with only a fish box full of crab pot bait, as we were going out to empty and rebait our pots. So here we are doing 25 knots (as you will know thats fast for a work boat), and i sh%t you not, a huge male seal, basically launched itself out of the water and belly flopped into our little Fastliner, in an attempt to steal our crab pot bait. My brother who was stearing the outbourd engine, crapped himself, and managed to climb outbourd of our outbourd engine. Leaving me to 'fight', with this huge, nasty, snarling, snotting, grunting, abserlute mauler of a seal, that was 'well up for a kick of'. Anyway, long story short, after a few blows were exchanged, the seal decided that it probably wasn't worth the hassle, and he flopped back in the the River Humber. Lol, lol. I s%#t you not that's a very true but crazy sounding thing that happened to us. Lol. Anyway mate loving your vids. Your hard work and knowledge is second to none. Cheers mate. Mick.
@@TheFishLocker yeah you're right there mate, that one definitely was. And once again I find myself being impressed with your knowledge of a quite obscure place as Donna Nuk. Nice one mate. Good lord, Im getting seasick just watching that boat bounce around on the water. I can only imagine how it actually feels. I'd be struggling to keep my lunch in my stomach, let alone try and pull up crab traps by hand. You're an absolute unit.
I’ve been using your videos to help me fall asleep. I have horrible anxiety disorders that make it nearly impossible to do so unaided. I also gave up my little precious pet rat today, and took it harder than I expected to. These videos? These help. They’re relaxing, calm, quiet, and the ocean just stays in the background. It’s like sitting in a little slice of heaven. Like a fishing Bob Ross
I don’t know if you will take comfort in this, but many people have said that to me. So you are not alone. I am glad that we can bring you some peace. 😊🦞
Heyo. I used to have pet rats and the only pet that came close was getting a free roaming rabbit. This was before doubling them up was common practice or knowledge. I have two cats as of now, and I love them to bits. But even these can't match the sheer attitude, sass and cuddlyness of that rabbit. It might be something to look into if you feel like rats are amazing, yet hate their 2year lifespan

At least if they are going to steal your catch or traps, they'll have to work a lot harder for their supper. 🤠
