I am sure both of them are good drivers, but I would prefer the same driver drive both cars to limit variability factors.

If the track is wet you´ll never know if it is differently wet in different moments. So they should make the test in dry conditions.
Also they should use the same driver for both tests.
I would buy the Jag before any of the Germans, but never before the Alfa!

Man, SUVs will never grow on me but if I was forced to buy one it'd be that Alfa.
It's funny how on every video of the Stelvio or the Giulia everyone says Alfa but the sels numbers are the reality

Alfa hands down... It looks better, sounds better (despite being V6) and drives better.
Go have a look at some F-Pace exhaust videos, I think you will change your mind.

Definitely not. Just put a deposit on an SVR and I would not have done so if it sounded like this video.
The Alfa does that in the wet on Pirelli Corsa tyres too!
They are notorious for being bad in the wet and cold.

I wonder which one is more durable if you know what I mean. But to be honest, Alfa are known for their controls.
Jaguar would be even worse as they are part of the land rover group who have an appalling reliability record. Alfa Romeo really are not that bad. I'm trying to think of an Alfa that has been particularly bad in the last two decades and can't think of any. The 166, 159, Brera, GT, giulietta, MiTo have all been good cars. Not a lot of known issues or anything.
iRapplexD My Brera Prodrive (2008) is at 123k miles and is solid and rattle free. It’s been incredibly reliable, has never let me down and rarely needs non-routine maintenance. When it has it’s components like suspension arm bushes wearing out, which at 11 years and well over 100k miles is to be expected.
The Alfa is nice, wish it was a NA engine, the interior seems nice, the dash materials could be better, I like the mannetino style steering wheel. Doesn't sound as good as the Jaag, I'd take either over the Urus. Both are beautiful

@Qualified Automotive Solutions that's not true at all. There is an option of cylinder deactivation for better fuel efficiency while driving in the urban areas. Jaguar is more luxurious and that's it.
You should know those engineering details as you are presenting yoursels as qualified for automotive solutions.

Maserati GT is the only good looking car in your garage all others are wannabes.
I owned more than 25 alfas in my life, a couple of Bmw's and Merc's. I also know what im talking about.
Is about respecting others opinions as well, which you don't. You test drove and i own, that's a bit of a difference.

Have to agree. If you wanted the last word in precision handling, you wouldn't get the SUV to begin with. The Jag is more comfy, has more character, sounds a lot more exciting, still fast as f. I think it's the most appealing mid-sized "performance" SUV on the market

I agree, I will take the F-Pace too. You don't need to go that extreme in an SUV. The SVR is plenty fast enough plus it looks better, is bigger and more luxurious.

Whats the point of buy a performance car is you settle for the least performant one. Also, considering luxary as a crieria when you buy this kind of cars is for old people.
Everybody recognizes that the Stelvio QV is the best performance SUV in the world except these idiots who say the Jag is the better road car due to 'comfort and interior' ffs..

Alpha is the superior vehicle hands down on the track and better looking
Jaag is much sexier, handles better, made of recycled aerospace aluminum so more sustainable, more exclusive, more prestigious, nicer materials, and sounds way better, also the looks alone are worth every penny.
Handles better ? I do not think so...also...the QV looks way more sexier. Still, this is my opinion...which seems to be shared by most pretrolhead.
@@Nathanael1888 It does I've drifted one, no other SUV I've owned handles like it, or sounds as good, looks are subjective, every car enthuasist would agree that Ian Callum has penned the most beautiful cars in the world.

Nice try but still not converted to SUVs. They are dearer to buy, dearer to run,dearer to maintain, ugly and at the slightest contact roll over like a puppy. When everyone is rabbiting on about conserving the worlds resources along comes the SUV, the popularity of which, here on Australia, is driven by women. Ironic really,that the bearers and carers of our children are mainly,it seems, responsible for these stupid “cars”. If you want to move your brood around safely get a people mover, if not just buy a sedan/station wagon and stop pissing about in these clodhopping buses
Friend, take it for someone who had bmw7 2016 740Ld, wanted SUV but all drive bad and look bad. I now own stelvio 2.0T 280hp. All I can tell you. Go do the test drive 😉
The Stelvio is ugly. Not going to age well.
