I successfully cleared the written examination for CSS. However, I opted not to pursue a career in civil services and instead shifted my focus to preparing for the judiciary. After realizing that it wasn't the right fit for me, I transitioned to the tech industry and assumed the role of an AI engineer. My initial employment was with a small startup based in the UAE. One year into my tenure, the company went public, and being one of the early employees, I acquired company shares. Upon the launch of the IPO, I divested my stake, yielding a substantial return. Motivated by this, I decided to venture into entrepreneurship, initiating my own business journey. This led me to engage in trading shares and Forex on a full-time basis, allowing me to lead a tranquil and fulfilling life.

All of these stress factors are driven by the purpose of joining bureaucracy. People join civil services because they desire for protocol and authority.
Check and control is mandatory in every system. Bureaucracy seeks colonial era power while times are changing now and bureaucrats have to accept these changes and adapt themselves accordingly. Work for the betterment of people not that of the colonial mindset which exists in our civil servants' lavish Houses the protocol and the misuse of authority must be stopped by introducing strict mechanisms. i think this discussion was distraction from the main topic that why they are suiciding. yes there is a psychology factor, but what we lack to see is who is causing it and why is it caused. there are 19 external checks. whether they are valid or not that is another issue, may be one reason of that high number is because a cs officer's duty is that much vulnerable and important. the actual crisis is the commands they are getting from the higher officials which are not syn. this might mean cs officers might be used, blackmailed, threatened, or even forced to abide otherwise the corruption or some other kind of cases would be made against them. and all is that happening because we are not having a stable government who is let to serve for five complete years with the assurity that whatever next gov might come would not dismiss or halt the already operational or undergoing projects. the issue is not that of psychological, the issue is of government instability.

It's drugs, women, power and having total control over others that make you an idiot. If you have a psychiatrist give you clearance for the job then it's still 50-50 that you will succeed. ACR will also reflect how good you are at your job and transparency in rewards and punishment. If it's that bad don't join, it's all about protocol and control

No service in the private sector can offer you so much facilities as the officers of Police, PAS and PMS have even in grade 17. Salary is way better than the private sector if we count POL, home and servants rewards etc. There is only one down side and that is you can't speak your heart. This is the only thing that makes one depressed. You need to have an extra ordinary emotional intelligence otherwise this job isn't for you. Authority, wealth and respect. Oor kia chahea bas zuban band huni ki sakhti tang karti ha.

However, all mentioned cases r not suicide cases, i believe. He told about a girl from Audit service who was under trainee in academy, did suicide because of cheat by her lover. This was not an official matter even she was nt posted at that time.

people in this nation and those in comments who say shit about civil servants just sound so brimmed with jealousy to me. They can't become what CSPs r due to laziness and when they fail they put the entire blame on bureaucrats while giving all other segments of society clean chit, just like their favorite politicians, the ones they vote for and who have made Pakistan this way. But they just can't bear the little salaries workers ask for, what they rightly deserve. Allah puche in munafiqon ko!!!

civil 'servantS' are not committing suicide ... it was just one such incident ... doesn't mean all are committing suicide or all are unhappy or all are corrupt.
There are numerous number of capable hardworking CSS men and women out there doing there best and living a good life as well.
We first of all needs to stop seeing everything with negative prospective .... if officers are having protocol, it's their right, everywhere in the world, the higher the rank the higher the benefits and that's what attracts the talent and generates competition.
