I love the Victorinox cards. Got all these tools even got one with a light and magnifying glass..mind you i have a midnight manager but just carry the card everywhere. And sometimes a tiny multi tool. All best from Australia 👍
Just stumbled upon your video and wanted to share my love for this wonderful little SAK! I've had one for about a year now and keep it on my key ring so it's always with me and no worries of misplacing it, so long as I don't lose my keys, lol. I use it numerous times a day, just super handy with a nice range of very useful tools! For example, the LED light comes in handy when I get home from work at night, since it's dark it's a struggle to find the keyhole in the door knob, but not a problem with this little guy. It's right there with my keys so couldn't be any more convenient. :)
@@Josiah1221 Great to hear from a fellow MM enthusiast!! I am really fussy about what's on my Keychain and already have a torch on it. But this is always in my pocket and gets used a lot. Thanks for leaving a comment. I really appreciate it.
Thansk Eric! The battery change is really easy - there is a small pinhole on one side. If you push a pin in there it pushes the battery out , opening the battery compartment door.
Well done! I started with the Classic SD many years ago because it was small and easy to carry. I now carry a Midnight Manager every day but have only rarely used it. I put together a urban EDC kit a year ago that I carry in my pack/sling. I built it following @jongadget's recommendations and ended up with the Midnight version of the Manager. Very useful little knife! What I've carried in my pocket for something like 30 years is the Executive. I've tried several others but like the Executive's form factor; two layer, 75mm, twin blades. After watching lots of video's, and hearing others worship of the Compact, I purchased one and have been trying it out. What I like about the Compact is the more robust blade and scissors. I miss the file on the Executive that also doubles as a phillips screw driver and also miss the small blade. I also really like the lighter weight of the Executive. The Compact has certainly earned a place in the rotation; but the Executive is still my go to EDC Knife. To be sure, habit plays a large part in my preference! Of late the Compact has been my EDC of choice, I've come to appreciate the more rugged blade. What I miss is the nail file that the Executive has.
Thanks. You have some great carry options. I have looked at the Compact, but I am currently going through an Alox had at the moment and I MM with the Pioneer X or Army7. Doesn't the compact have the nail file on the parcel hook? Or is it the separate nail file/screw driver that you miss?
Great look at this one Mark ! Of the little dinky Vic's this would be a good choice ......that said , I doubt own one ! I only have one dinky Vic ...the Alox Minichamp , which I love and think is the pick of the bunch ! Mind you if you need a torch and a pen ............................
@@bladeinwales Thanks Tony. I haven't got the Alox mini-champ. It's on my list to get and try out. I don't use the MM pen very often, But when I do it has been useful to have it.
It doesn't seem to. The battery lasts for a long time. You need to keep press the shield emblem for the light to come on and hold it. As soon as you release the shield the light goes off.
Awesome video, buddy!👍👍Now I want one of those😆
Thanks David. It is my most used SAK!
Very nice video! Nice that the light and pen are on the same end.
Thanks brother! It is handy. Not that I need to write in the dark vert often!
Fab video
That’s gone on the ever growing list of wants 😂❤
Thanks Will. It is definitely the SAK I use the most.
Another fantastic model from Victorinox…!!!
You should think about doing some work with QVC…🤣
Brilliant video mate….
Catch you later 😎👊🏻
@@SeanT_1967 Cheers Sean. 🤣 I hope it wasn't too much a hard sell. I genuinely love this SAK!!
Very persuasive.
Thanks brother.

The Swiss cards are great! I have a basic one. I'll do a review on it in a few weeks... Thanks for stopping by.

Super convenient EDC. I'm planning to pick one of these up! Thanks for the tip. God bless, Rob
I misplaced the blue one of these that I had. Had to buy this one after a couple of weeks as I missed it so much. Genuinely use it everyday....
I am very tempted, if only it was made in France 😂. I am way down the rabbit hole. This was a brilliantly in depth video Mark
Thanks Elan. I am trying to up my game with my videos. Sorry it's not French. 😂
Seems like a very handy little Victorinox to have in the pocket. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks brother. TBH Even the classic SD is so useful to have on you all the time. This just has a few extra features...
Definitely a useful piece. Great vide Mark!!!

@@MB_EDC Yes, the Compact has the nail file on the back of the parcel hook. Unfortunately, it's not very effective though.

Does the light go on when in the pocket and drain the battery?

Are you sure you can take it with you in all airoplanes all over the world. Last time I had to leave my Roxon M3 13
@@harcovanhees394 I don't take the Midnite Manager on planes. My Gerber Shard has always been fine and I plan to try the The Jetsetter.
