I would use the filter setup by Pondguru for that filter. I got amazing results my nitrates maintain super low. Also since you are using the HOB might as well add some sponges just to help polish the water. Also didn’t notice if you had a sponge filter on the intake tube but I would add one as well. Other than that the tank looks perfect.
Great filter and just a tip if you ever have problems with the O ring on the head just take it off and put a big flat rubber band and then put back the origin that should do it i was gonna tell you on the last vid but i prefer 2 tell on this one THANKS FOR SHARING LOVE YOUR FLOWERHORN 💪💪
I know this is an older video, but it's the only one I have found where someone is running a 704b on a 55 gal. I've been contemplating installing one on my 55 gal Mbuna tank since they are known to love the current and all the media compartments will help keep the tank clean and clear. I have the 704b sitting as a back up, but know I think i'm gonna pull the trigger and set it up and make the 307 I have as a back up or DIY a way to set it up on the 32 gal Biocube I have set up with a couple fancy goldfish, since they love to be messy and the 307 with definitely keep it clean.
I have had this filter for several years and it makes very little noise. If your filter was it probably was not totally primed up or the impeller was not locked in.
Hi jdo amazing filter buddy tank looks awsome I would deffo put a few ceramic rings in bottom of filter it just gives a better flow around bottom and holds the big detritus in bottom 👍👍👍

That’s the strangest looking fish I’ve ever seen. He looks like a cartoon character. 😅 I just ordered this same filter and hope it works well.
