in a couple of months i'm seeing john cleese doing conversation and Q and A following a screening of monty python and the holy grail. i'm not sure how it's going to work, but if it's a microphone set up for audience members to come up and ask questions i'm going to step up and say, "is this the right room for an argument?". my dream is he will automatically launch into this sketch with me.
When I was a 15 yr old kid, this would air at 1am once a week and we rarely missed it. Much of my sense of humor was influenced by these guys. Who else?
This was one of their best sketches. I remember when I watched it all those years ago I thought it the work of genius, the timing of both Cleese and Palin was faultless and their characters extremely plausible. 10 out of 10 comedy gold.

I already told you once!!
Musk actually just linked to this video in reference for paying to argue on twitter
in a couple of months i'm seeing john cleese doing conversation and Q and A following a screening of monty python and the holy grail. i'm not sure how it's going to work, but if it's a microphone set up for audience members to come up and ask questions i'm going to step up and say, "is this the right room for an argument?". my dream is he will automatically launch into this sketch with me.
Pure genius

When I was a 15 yr old kid, this would air at 1am once a week and we rarely missed it.
Much of my sense of humor was influenced by these guys. Who else?

How are we to know, who else influenced your sense of humor?
I LOVE when he hits the bell. If comedy is about timing then this is GENIUS! Lololol.
It's missing the part where he goes into the wrong room and gets screamed at and then told: "Oh, sorry, this is abuse."

The utter innocence in John Cleese face😇😇
This was one of their best sketches. I remember when I watched it all those years ago I thought it the work of genius, the timing of both Cleese and Palin was faultless and their characters extremely plausible. 10 out of 10 comedy gold.
