I was saddened by the fact they cut the part of the clinic where you go to a room to be verbally abused. However, I am a teacher and once showed the old version to my students and that part had the word "tit" in it. Now I could officially recommend it. I learned about as much or more from Monty Python about how to think and talk intellectually than going to college.
After watching this for dozens of times in years and years I still can laugh about it because its not only an inventive and bizarre idea but done so well also.
in a couple of months i'm seeing john cleese doing conversation and Q and A following a screening of monty python and the holy grail. i'm not sure how it's going to work, but if it's a microphone set up for audience members to come up and ask questions i'm going to step up and say, "is this the right room for an argument?". my dream is he will automatically launch into this sketch with me.
Brilliant, thank you for this little insightful piece of spiritual knowledge that I can share on my journey Monty python. You’re an amazing asset to society. You go down in history as a marvelous comedian, taking the piss out of the nut bags.

Haha “turnt”
Well to argue with you I need to take a contradictory position.
Yes but its not just saying "no it isn't".
Yes it is.
No it isn't!

The layers of genius in this sketch 😂
A better response to "well if I didn't pay, then why are you arguing", he should have said "I'm not arguing, I'm simply performing contradiction"

An argument clinic is actually a really good idea. Think I'd attend one, as I'm terrified of arguments and need to learn to handle them
No, it isn't. And you're not terrified of arguments.

No, you haven't.
I think it was the word "git."
Yes, he indeed said tit.
@@nyChannel09 Not "filthy git". Graham Chapman said "Stupid git."
"Now I can officially recommend it." So are you recommending tits or the sketch? 😁
Absolute pure class.

in a couple of months i'm seeing john cleese doing conversation and Q and A following a screening of monty python and the holy grail. i'm not sure how it's going to work, but if it's a microphone set up for audience members to come up and ask questions i'm going to step up and say, "is this the right room for an argument?". my dream is he will automatically launch into this sketch with me.

Brilliant, thank you for this little insightful piece of spiritual knowledge that I can share on my journey Monty python. You’re an amazing asset to society. You go down in history as a marvelous comedian, taking the piss out of the nut bags.
