Actually, this is not Monty Python (who started in 1969), but from the film "How To Irritate People" (1968), written by Cleese and Chapman, among others (Michael Palin was just a guest here).
It's the 21st Century and nobody on a plane understands this kind of humour; passengers are already 100% ticked off with the inefficient Clowns 🤡 down below in multiple international Airports...
When it was done right, this was the in-flight "live action" entertainment offering. Which was what they had before the seat in front of you had a little TV screen built into it.
One of my favorite comedy sketches of all time.
The Pilots’ response to everyone jumping out. 😆
“You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t some trouble about it.”

Aviation in the good old days was a lot less formal and more fun than today.
I take it this is from an airline pilot training film or something. 😂

Training
This was an airline pilot training film. These were the ace pilots of their day.
When it was done right, this was the in-flight "live action" entertainment offering. Which was what they had before the seat in front of you had a little TV screen built into it.
Somebody call James Gregory! (Southern comedian, known as "The Funniest Man In America", who LOATHED flying & airlines) 😂
Is this 60+ Humor?
