    Hey friends! Have you been to Silver Glen Springs, yet? There are several other springs located in Ocala National Forest. Which spring would you like us to cover next?

    I'm surprised that the park allowed that many boats in the spring.

    What a beautiful kayak ride. Lake George was so big. That tiny gator so cute 😅 Lots of history also.

    I used to go here as a kid. There was a place off the sand boil trail where you could walk through that part of the river and go "inside" the sand boils. Not sure if that's still allowed or not.

    Wow nice informative video. Love the narration, you have a nice voice. If you look to the right at the 3 minute mark that guy looks like bigfoot .

      Lol….the gator wouldn’t bother you unless you bother it first! ☺️ The sand boils we’re really fascinating! It was hard to not stand there and just watch them all day. So cool!

    Do you have to rent a kayak to get to the swimming area?

    • @ChrissaTravels
      @ChrissaTravels  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nope! No kayak rental needed. You can just walk from your car to the swimming area.

    I'm just....not sure about the Springs lol! Beautiful? Absolutely. Scary? Most definitely lol. I need to be on a huge airboat to calm my nerves. I'm just going to watch your awesome videos because I'm not brave enough yet LOL!

      😂😂 LaShay! 😆 You are hilarious! One day I really need to bring you to a spring so that I can show you that there truly is nothing to be so scared about. I hope you let me do that one day!

    Gators??? Isn't that dangerous? are they where you swim too?

    • @ChrissaTravels
      @ChrissaTravels  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We’ve never seen any in a swimming area, but that doesn’t mean you’ll never see them there. Typically, they’ll close down the swimming area if there is a gator in the water, though. As long as you don’t go swim right up to them and keep your distance they leave you alone or swim away.

    Are there no gators in the swimming area, springs area? Looked beautiful but not sure if I would swim. I would show respect to any gator. 😂

    • @ChrissaTravels
      @ChrissaTravels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, they were down closer to lake George. I don’t think gators like it in the swimming area because there are too many people. You may see one in the morning, but they tend to leave once people start showing up.
