McNulty picking up D'Angelo and Donette's kid is so creepy. I think it's just cause it's McNulty and he's doing it to try and create some leverage on Donette.
It would play much better if maybe Kima was the one doing it, but yeah with McNulty it looks like a pure power play.
I get the feeling and I agree. I also think that McNulty wanted Donette to look at her son in the face and see D'Angelo, because she probably disassociates the two now after more than a year. McNulty was going for an emotional heartstring pull.
And it worked. Donette hit up stringer. So creepy it may be. But the plan worked, unraveling the bond further between Stringer and Avon, and also making it easier for Avon to greenlight Stringer at a pivotal point in the series
It's just the 2024 woke culture in you
McNulty's ego makes him see himself always as "the good guy". So he doesn't see it as creepy, just him being a good guy. He can't really see it from other person's perspective.
I love the story arch involving Jimmy and Lester's relationship throught the series.
Daniels didn't t understand it wasn't McNulty against the world, it was McNulty vs. stringer.
Man, u should make cutty's compilation. He had the best character development I think
Multiple people have requested Cutty and Carver 💯 I'm on it Boss 🫡
@@TheWireUni word up man, thanks!🔥
0:41 When McNulty says "Stringer's the target, there isn't a better f-cker out there", he pushes his way past Rhonda. A metaphor for how he won't settle down with her. Then he tells Freamon "Don't let [Daniels] go soft on this." You can see Rhonda's reaction to the 'soft' comment in the background (she's dating him).
Bruh
4:36 When McNulty stands up and pulls out his wallet, I think her first reaction was he was about to give her money, because that's what she's used to. She turns away like she's having flashbacks
This channel 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciated 💯
Always blows my mind to see Luther Mahoney as the coroner.
3:23 Interesting artwork on her wall. What do you think it represents? I think the vertical blocks represent the city of Baltimore, and the old African spirit is trying in vain to navigate through it
What the fuck did I do? 😂😂😂
FUCK YEAH THE WIRE UNIVERSE LOVE YOU :D 💛💛
💯💯💯
Does anyone know the song that’s playing in Donette’s apartment?
mcnutlys scottish accent persists in the first scene
He Wanted String bad 😔🤣
I luv McNulty
Best cop on the Wire!!
Him and Lester Freamon.
I dunno man, that one cop that says he deals with going into work hungover by throwing up a few times before his shift seems like he knows what he's doing!
Bunk, Rawls, sydnor, Lester, kimah, Colvin, curver, even presbo investigation work, plenty of good cops
Donnette’s reaction to McNulty tells you all you need to about the women in D’Angelo’s life from Brianna,Shardene and Donette herself.
His accent sounds at the very beginning haha
McNulty is utterly insufferable. Possibly only Weebeys misses is more unlikable in the whole series. And Scott, obv.
Attaboy Bushy Top, attaboy.
