Interesting how FOM and/or Liberty claims the Andretti name has no marketing benefit. So are they going to force Haas, Red Bull, Williams and RB to change their names to a automotive brand as main sponsors too? What's wrong with the engine sponsor being the second name? Is this why we hear rumors of Hyundai, BMW, and now Toyota coming back? Haven't we learned from years past that most major car manufacturers are only committed if the economy is real good. Well, the fact is that Andretti cannot guarantee stability, at least not as far as F1 is concerned. Nobody wants to see a team that closes down again after two years because it can't make enough money from the sport. Mr. Andretti is already known as a gambler. Involvement from GM and Cadillac as an American car manufacturer is a somewhat safer investment AND... it enhances the international character of F1.
