Thanks for the upload.
I’m new to monitors, and want to know if setting the Xbox Series X to 4K although the panel is native 1440p okay? Will it make the image worse?
I have had this monitor for 2 weeks and if you primarily game with this display, it is absolutely fantastic.
Hows baldurs gate 3 with this monitor? I heard its too dark on qd oled monitors, like the shadows in game being completely black and not enough brightness
@@xPhantomxifyI think you would be able to adjust contrast and black levels
this or Samsung G6 (G60SD) oled?
Hey man, I saw that you also play helldivers 2, did you encounter any artifacts (black dots on white glowing parts in game, with HDR on) with this monitor? thx!
No I didn't
Nice! Did you get the resolution switch to work?
Yeah it worked by default no problem
I've been rocking this for the past 2 weeks. However I'm struggling with picture settings. Do you have any decent ones
What are you looking for specifically?
@@thinkcomputers1 just decent looking settings for warzone.
@@thinkcomputers1 just some settings that will make warzone pop
Same
Did you have any issues with eye strain or eye fatigue when using this monitor for extended periods of time? I had a MSI 271QPX (which uses the same QD-OLED panel as the FO27Q3), but I had to return it because it caused me so much eye strain.
Used this for about a month straight, no eye strain or fatigue
I've got the msi monitor you mentioned and don't suffer of any eye strain
I had to use a LED light above the screen to combat the eye strain/headaches. It has something to do with OLED pwm flicker and a niche amount of OLED users experiencing it (me included). Ever since the change and turning off HDR I've had no issues. Some of us are just extremely sensitive to this lighting method.
@@TyroneBF I might have to consider this with my next OLED, although I really didn't have any issues with this one
wonder how this compares to Alienware's AW2725DF which is also 1440p 360hz oled
Same panel, but the Alienware doesn't have HDMI 2.1 bandwidth.
Ive been waiting for the MSI 271QRX for months now and cant find it in stock, I might just buy this since it has the same specs and be done with it. The OLED care features seem pretty comparable to MSI's and the price is the same
I'm in the same boat, gonna pull the trigger on this. Rtings just reviewed this one and its slightly brighter than the MSI and Alienware versions
@@GMoneyy3000 Oh they did? I was looking for the review like yesterday, lemme check it out. Also, Im so mad at myself, it was in stock on Newegg for 2 days and I didnt buy it because im going to be out of town when it said it would arrive.
@@GMoneyy3000 I had the alienware, and now im using the Pixio monitor which has the 240hz WOLED panel, not a fan of it
Same here. Ordered a Alienware because it was cheaper with a 100$ now 1,5 month has gone, had to cancel my order and i decided to pull the trigger on this monitor. Almost identical specs, so im sure it will fulfill my expectations.
@@volvo89577 I’ve been using mine for 2 days now and it is simply amazing. The settings required some tinkering but wow the image quality and motion clarity is top notch
Can this be wall mounted? Awesome review keep up the good work!
Yes it can, it supports a normal VESA mount, glad you enjoyed the review!
Only AMD Freesync ?
I sent mine back yesterday after 2 weeks of use. There was a few reasons for that but the main one was the glossy finish that made me unable to work with text editor because all I saw was my own mirror every time I worked with editor that had dark background. Also the panel is really dim against classic IPS one and I could not get the result I expected from it. The last thing was that with any light source coming into my room the panel was not pitch black but had purple tint because of the anti-glare filter used. The only was to solve all of this issues was to block any light source but I refuse to sit in a room that has zero light coming in just to enjoy my new monitor. Maybe if I lived in underground bunker with zero light that thing would be good for me but for now its hard pass. Ill try mini led as my next monitor.
Please STOP buying QD-OLED/OLED monitors as work monitors. They are NOT suited for office work use. Stick to gaming/entertainment only.
Why is this concept so hard for you to grasp?
@@xPhantomxify Have you ever heard about working on Ipad? Its also OLED and due to its brightness and clarity its perfect for work. This OLED monitor at other hand is dim trash and glossy finish makes everything worse. But as I said I got my money back and going for something else.
@@Dzus1kif your room is bright and will have lights while using it DONT buy QD OLED, get WOLED they have less reflection and just get a matte finish
how much FPS were you getting while playing Apex Legends?
Almost 300
Way to expensive. 1.160 USD, here in Denmark.. For a 27 inch.. I bet it will be half that in a year, at least, lets hope so!
There is no other 360hz 2k oled
@@Dan-gw3cu there is MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED
@@lorance7114there still the same price
'm sure that 27" 1440P 360Hz OLED is the Goldilocks zone for many people. Now if they can get the prices down...
4k 240hz oled* 27inch is mine
miss me with that 1440p trash
dont buy any OLED ATM. Wait for Tandem OLED monitors to come out
When it will be?
@@htttps809 should be sometimes within the next year events cause apple just put it on their ipad and dell put it on the laptop
What is atm and tandem?
That's at least 3 years down the line.
@@jonny555333 how you know?
i wouldnt put this in the top 5 oled 27inch gaming monitors....but any oled in 2024 is a good purchase
Ight bro, what makes you say that, and what would you recommend?
@@paagedPick the cheaper one. I recommend dell for the warranty and add extra 2 years on that. Here where i live, dell is significantly cheaper than aorus
@@paaged just of other reviews from whats on the market with similar specs...i guess it comes to personal pref brother
@@Eusebiugh and where I live, the aorus is the cheapest. 800 vs 900 usd. The alienware also only had hdmi 2.0 bandwidth
@@jaye6450 You don't happen to have any of these monitors, do you?
the text look like terrible it does give headache on my oled g9 odyssey 49 inch
That is an extremely zoomed in picture....for me I don't notice it and it is not visible at my viewing distance
@@thinkcomputers1 it's still very noticable & headache inducing on all qd oleds including my odyssey g9 oled g9. The text look fuzzy & not clear.
