Tecumseh Mouse Blocker Part 1; Keep Mice out of my Engine

  • I have a Wheel Horse garden tractor with a Tecumseh engine. This is the second time mice have built a nest in the flywheel housing so I'm going to make something to stop them. This is part 1 of a multi-part video.

    I had the same problem so I took off the cover for the winter and n meises . Nice looking machine sir.

    I love the design and application. But I think if you used the same screen material as they use on the flywheel , you'll eliminate any potential hot spots and keep a good flow of air. I think that screen material is like .040 thick ?? Plus, you'll still have an ability to shine a light down inside the flywheel cover through the screen for any future inspection purposes.
