I was laid off at march, lost my work pemit, residence pemit, my money for get an appartment mortage, still looking for a job, it was hard 4 months for me, i hope your are better, stay strong
Same pinch, i too got laid off recently from my corporate job( Lead Software Developer ). Interesting thing is that, I gave 14 years starting March 2010 and still company took no second thought.
love your attitude. Grace is a gift:) Patience is hard but also a gift we can give ourselves. Its good to discover those things we can do on our own that completely engage us.....for me its getting into nature or beach sometimes writing
I was also laid off, after working my ass of for a horrible company and a horrible manager who took advantage of my passion and had me working sometimes till 10PM at times.
I’m sorry that you got laid off! I was laid off in my early 20s too and I was much less level-headed about it. You’ve got this-a better opportunity is around the corner!
I was also just laid off as an analyst, I've been looking into background acting, and thinking about doing content creation while I look for another job lmao so I'm SO glad I found your video!!! It's awesome to see someone I can relate to talking so candidly about their experience with this ❤ lmk if you think of any free things to do to pass the time 😅
You’ll pull through and find something better! I really enjoy background acting so if you can find a local production it’s so worth it just to try out. I’ve really been throwing myself into content creation but also taking time to spend with friends research what I’m passionate about, and taking time to volunteer
I was terminated due to a process failure back in the end of may. I’m still crushed since it was my dream job. How did you get over the mental/emotional trauma? Any tips?
Aww that sucks! I was laid off and totally know how you feel. Are you on unemployment? That should help you out a little in the meantime, and you should be eligible because you were laid off!
I guess it's a good opportunity for you to try something you enjoy. It will also give someone else the opportunity to have the position you didn't value. It's never a good idea to talk poorly about being in corporate America and also post where you work. It doesn't look very good for that company. Good luck on your journey!
Do you want a career or do you want a job? Both are perfectly fine, but that's a good question to ask yourself before taking any type of new job. Wishing you the best!

We are going through the same process. Rooting for you to find your path
I was laid off today...I want to start my own company at this point
I feel the exact same way ❤

I was laid off on Monday scrolling through Indeed and it sucks because you have to start all over again right before the holidays.
so no one noticed how casually she was doing touchups on her face while on camera. very cool, very confident.
I was also layed off a month ago. You are right, it doesn't matter how good you are :(
Everything you’ve said is facts. Being laid off is very traumatic and life changing.
love your mindset about the whole situation!
Thank you! Trying my best to stay positive

I only subscribe to consistent uploads. Hope you’re doing well now!

Yes! I applied the day after I was laid off. During covid I waited way too long to apply so this time I was on top of it
Great reflection video. Go find something you enjoy!!
@@jab-hs8tz thank you!
@@margaretskiff you are welcome. What’s a backup actor that you discussed
@@margaretskiff also lmk if I can help you in anyway as a sounding board
Don’t trust anyone. You are replaceable. There’s always someone out there who will take your place & they’ll probably even do it for less money
Just like breakup ghosting in dating move on don’t take it personally
margaret. Please record with a lav mic. Very hard to hear you.
Yes! Planning on investing in a vlog camera and mic as soon as I can afford it

Hu? I was in no way talking badly about my previous position or company in this entire video, and didn’t mention once where I worked…
I'm very sorry Margaret. If you need a friend, you have one.

Still trying to figure that out myself 😅 the end goal is self employment just trying to get to a spot financially where that is feasible
I was laid off 11 months ago and i still don't have any job. Now I am in my parents house again
i hear ya its actually pretty normal these days
