This is Dino Cattaneo's work, indiafoxtecho simulations. He was releasing brilliant commercial level freeware when some of you were still using sippy cups. His Goshawk for FSX is still a standard setter, and those of us who know his work are dying for him to bring that plane into MSFS2020. Google indiafoxtecho to see his work.

Its a nice model. If he were making models when I was in diapers, they would have definitely been made from balsa wood.
The MB-339 was released shockingly fast, excited for the review though.
The bigger shock to me is how nice it is.
@@NOTAM1 As a long time flyer of Dino's efforts I have always been happy with his output. Importantly he keep fixing bugs and talks to his customers thru his vlog. Great work Dino. Many of us wish that other producers were as thoughtful towards their customers.

This MB-339 is my favourite MOD Aircraft in DCS World. I am looking forward to the full professional Versions of this great plane in both MSFS 2020 and in DCS.
Me too. Can't wait for some study level aircraft in MSFS.
My biggest "disappointment" with MSFS 2020 was that I couldn't take my beloved L-39 from DCS and fly it around the world. Seems like this plane may be just what I was hopping for !

First, thanks for making this tutorial. I used it when I first bought the plane. It was the first plane I bought.
Went to fly it today and noticed it is missing from the hanger! Somebody stole my 339. Seriously, it is not showing up for some reason. I checked my log book and see it was last flown quite a few months ago. But now I don't know why it isn't showing up? It is in FSPackages > Official > Steam > indiafoxtecho-mb339. The plane is not in the simulator though? I'll figure it out, I hope... Just strange that it disappeared like that.

I'm running native 4k resolution with Ultra settings. That helps a lot.
I really hate this trend of releasing aircrafts without in-game checklists, All of the addon planes I've bought or looked into are missing them and it suck real hard, they are a great feature for newcomers to simulators or people who don't want to deal with horrible pdf/paper checklists.
I agree. I made the recommendation to the developer in my review and he responded. Might be something we get in an update.
you notice your airpeed indicator isnt working as you taxi out. I am having the same issue. Any fix?
What do you do to get such sharp gauges an reflections. in my cockpit everything is blurry
Thanks again. The AI or altitude indicator sometimes gets stuck. Not sure due to icing. How to you get to unfreeze if you have experienced.
Can you please cover how the nav system works? I love the plane, but the lack of any sort of manual is quite frustrating.
The manual is available for download on the same page you download the aircraft from on simMarket.

@@NOTAM1 Any guesses how soon? I can't find info anywhere on how to properly use the flight director system. I know it isn't like general aviation autopilot, but how can you get it to follow the heading you set, and maintain altitude hold?
Is the flight director even working? I can press those buttons, but they appear to do nothing.
@@TheZENbros Try pressing Z after setting the flight director. (Z just turns autopilot on/off) I have it mapped to both my yoke (left hand side) and my hotas on the flight stick itself. (Also, getting there re: tutorial, just so many videos lined up and not enough time)

Sketchy. No approved by Microsoft. As if we don't have enough issues with the game already crashing.
@@mikebenton3462 Marketplace approval takes much longer than most devs are willing to wait before selling their products. I wouldn't consider it sketchy that they are selling via simmarket. Hundreds of devs use these channels.
What is the MLU? Where is that upgrade available
How does the navigation work on this plane. GPS Available?
Shouldn't have one. If it is modeled it should just have radio navigation and inertial navigation.
It does have GPS, but not in the form of say a G1000. I know that many when asking does it have GPS are actually asking if it has some type of autopilot gps guidance. It supports random navigation (RNAV) by GPS and uses the flight director to help you fly to those points.
Thanks for the tutorial. What do you use to move around in the cockpit? A combination of IR-tracking and hotkeys or a separate gamepad?
Just a trackIR which has 6 depth of field movement.
Do you know how to prevent the freezing during cold rain flights my windshield is freezing, I know there are controls in cockpit on the right side that deal with windshield but they seem to be disabled.
I don't think this is supposed to be study level so the system probably doesn't work

I can't find a TrackIR anywhere! But I use the Delanclip and works great in MSFS and not a fiddle to set up.
@@MorrisseysMonkey never used anything but TrackIR (mostly because i have been for more years than I can remember), but I know there are probably a lot of good options now. About to google Delanclip.
I can't find the speed brake when I search for it in the controls to map it to my HOTAS. Is it the same thing as spoiler?
Yes, it should be spoiler, at least it is in the Mooney.
Peters correct, its spoiler in the controls mapping.

Hi, nice video. I had a couple of questions. I searched to find the price of the MB-339 add on and couldn't find it. My question is how much would that cost if I want it? I don't have fs2020 yet, so if the price is in the game, I can't see it. Also could you share the model of your graphics card? and system specs? I'm just trying to see what kind of card I will get, or if I need one to replace my Geforce GTX770 2GB overclocked. I'm hoping the card I have now would render the cockpit in a similar way. If not, maybe later I can upgrade. My system is an intel i7 - 4770K quad core @ 3.5ghz, 16GB ram. I see your in 4k, but watching this in 1080p looks really good, so if I can get it looking that good, I'd be pleased. I also wonder if the final 4k video looks better in 1080 because it was recorded at 4k or it looks typical 1080p. thanks
Hi Zoom, thanks. I'm running an AMD 3900X w PCIe 4 Motherboard w/64GB 3200 RAM, 4'th Gen NVME and a 2080 ti. I have a 4k native screen so I don't run anything but that resolution so I can't help you there, sorry.

I have downloaded and installed some scenarios such as the "Kennedy Space Center" and "Pearl Harbor, Hawaii" among others, all this following the instructions as it should be done in the Community folder. But when I enter the simulator I don't know how or where to find these free loaded scenarios? Please explain how to do to enjoy these addons. Beforehand thank you very much. All airports will have an airport code or ICAO to identify them. Example, Toronto Pearson is CYYZ. Find out the ICAO code for your airport and type it in the search box in flight sim world map.
Should this be considered a open beta release with more updates coming?
I believe the dev is bringing updates, but only to fix what may be not working. As far as a study level version, I think that will be released as another model or upgrade/pro version of this.
When Microsoft Fixes the Broken Game with these huge issues, then i might think on buying addons. But anyways great Vid.

All textures inside the cockpit too much "shiny". Reflections MUST be different for Metal, for Rubber, for Plastic and especially for Gauges and Canopy Glass!!! Also, I hope to see a real mirrors.

Real mirrors would be nice. I would appreciate them putting some AR coatings on those gauges also.
If you fly this plane in-game, what will other players, that don't have the mod, see you flying?
That's a good question. I'm not sure. I wonder how this is handled for any 3'rd party aircraft. I'm guessing the marketplace aircraft have their simpler models included in the updates, but not sure what happens if you buy something like this.
It's the small things, like the audio not becoming muffled when you close the canopy, that are throwing me off buying this.
I know what you mean, that seems to be a theme with MSFS add-ons from nearly every dev. Even Carenado couldn't even bebothered to create simple XML checklists for their 30$/each aircraft.
Yes, but Carenado did do a nice job with the sound on the M20R, especially opening and closing the pilot window while idling on the ramp.
I think this would be the perfect model to showcase a nice set of open/closed canopy sounds.

The latest version does, although they don't have the "look at the button" or automatic confirmation that "official" planes have.

... was flying this at night this evening with instrument lights on and dome off ... altimiter does not illuminate 1000s ... am I missing something?
