    I love those old school co2 pistols . You can’t go wrong with a Sheridan. Thanks for sharing.

      Fun little guns. Definitely worth resealing. Thanks for watching, Richard.

    I have a similar story where I sold off the bulk of my collection, factory parts, tools, repair manuals 20 years ago. I thought I was out of the hobby for good but started to tinker with a few guns just over a year ago. But this time it's far different; I'm having more fun than ever as a casual enthusiast rather than directly working in the industry as a professional. I also reach out to Nibs some months back and greatly enjoy watching his vids. It certainly is more entertaining watching someone else's content rather than creating it for others. All the best, Steve Gibbons, Former Senior Field Editor, US Airgun Magazine.

      It's truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance Steve. So glad to have you aboard.
      I'm at that age where if it isn't fun, I'm not doin' it. 🤣
      Seriously though, sometimes having a hobby instead of a job takes all of the pressure off.
      Hope to see more of you here in the future.
      Thanks for watching, my friend.

    Hello Kevin! When i was a teener my friend had a Webley Tempest and i should have myself one too. I went to the hardware shop but for some reason i came home with the Sheridan e and pointed pellets that looked like a slug. It was my first air pistol and it should always be ready for use😁 Unfortunately it was never ready for use because the CO2 cartridge had always leaked out when i wanted to use it.... I was done with air pistols for a long time and the only air pistol after that i bought a year ago. A Walther LP53 for in my collection but it is like new and i don't want to use it. You know i,m a HW springer guy but i think i will get myself a nice PCP pistol some day because i have a pump for my S410. Thanks for showing my friend 👍Cheers!

      Hi Ron. Ah yes, the frustration of a leaking CO2 gun. Been there, done that. Should've got the Tempest. They last forever. That LP53 is a sweetheart. I've been looking for a reasonably priced one myself.
      Thanks as always my friend.

    Great video, I really enjoy your channel! I live in Racine where Sheridans were made and always love seeing people using these great airguns.

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thanks Mike. It's really a shame that Crosman took over Sheridan and Benjamin. When we were kids, my brother and I both had Sheridans. My brother dropped hi in the sand one day and when he pumped it up, it ruined the pump piston seal. Our father boxed it up and sent it to the factory in Racine with a note that asked that they repair it and to let him know what the bill was. A couple of weeks later the rifle was delivered back and there was no charge for the repair or for the shipping. Great companies like that are a dying breed.
      Thanks for watching Mike.

    What a great gun! Wish a new manufacturer would bring back .20 cal. It is the perfect balance between trajectory and power.

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's definitely a good caliber. I was a menace to the local starling population. For all of my UK friends, the British starling is an invasive species here like our grey squirrels are to you guys. It was always open season on starlings. The Blue Streak was more than effective. Thanks for watching Robbin

    Nice! Pistols are next-level challenging. I’ve been exploring 10 meter pistol shooting and it makes the second hand feel like cheating. So fun to challenge yourself.

      Yes Al, pistols are in a completely different realm from rifles. Much more difficult to shoot well. Thanks as always.

    Many years ago I used to have a American Airgunner Pen Friend, we woul write to each other about Airguns here in the UK and there in the USA ,but he sadly passed away a few years ago.so it's great to have you has a Airgunner Friend and your videos, how times have changed from pen and paper, thank you Kevin.

      I'm sorry that you lost your American friend. You're correct. Things are a lot more direct these days. We can email, text and leave comments on videos. The world is definitely a smaller place than it was just 20 years ago.
      Thanks as always Stephen.

    Yeah I can't see to shoot a pistol anymore either but still do it at close range!
    Great video 👍 I don't have my Sheridan anymore but still have an old Crosman 150 .22 that I rebuilt. Carry it fishing at the river in summer.

    I do enjoy a bit of CO2 shooting too, especially when the weather is warm enough to keep the power up, as you pointed out.
    I've never tried shooting ith .20 caliber, but that Sheridan sure does ring the bell for you.
    Thank you for this one, I enjoyed watch9ng the targets being shot!

      Yes, it's very similar to the 150. The 150 is a fantastic pistol in its own right. However, internally, they differ significantly. Thanks Scott.

    Good little pistols, there's a sheridan supergrade just come up for valuation on the airgunbbs here, wish i had the money to go for it when it's in the sales section. Can't be many in the uk.

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn't imagine that there's many at all. I used to repair all kinds of airguns for the public as a side business. I saw so many rare and unusual airguns in that time. Not once have I come across a Supergrade and I'm in the states. Thanks so much my friend.

    I have a Crosman 22-cal air pistol (pump) that is almost an exact clone of your Sheridan. They could have been made on the same equipment. I have two Sheridan 5mm air rifles (1954 and 1970) that still shoot strongly. They just do not wear out.

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I'm pretty sure that what you have is a model 150. It's a classic workhorse from the days when Crosman was a pioneer in CO2 power possibilities. I've sold off dozens of Crosman guns over the years, but I've still got my Crosman 150.
      Enjoy, and thanks for watching, my friend.

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This one's trigger isn't bad at all, considering the very simple system.

    .20 cal is seriously underrated in airguns and honestly it is a shame because I think that it's better than .22

    • @razor1962
      @razor1962  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has been said that .20 cal is the ideal compromise between. 177 & .22

      A couple. I've got an old Crosman 180, a 150 and a newer, full auto Beretta 92 look-alike BB pistol.
      My airgun collection was extensive years ago. I've since thinned out most of it.
