oooh noice
@@rustycookiepekka6875 Yeah he sounded like an American doing a Russian Accent in black ops 1.
@@rustycookiepekka6875 you know the longer you spend in another environment of people with different accents, the more that affect can hit you and your accent starts changing, right? BO1 and CW have a long year-span from eachother so It would make sense Weaver sounds more American
My only question is why
And same as Grigori Weaver, Gene Farber…
His beating up Woods and kicking Mason’s face scene always sticks with me, it’s honestly one of the highlights of Call of Duty for intimidating antagonists. “Not this time, American!” Perfect delivery of that line.
if you turn on captions when he says you again the captions say you are gay
Lol
Honestly in BO1, he just seemed like the meathead body guard of Dragovich. Now, he's shown to be very devoted to the Soviet Union while having his own goals and motives.
Because he comes across as a badass compared to makarov who gets the shit beat out him and hung by price with no resistance just accepts his fate but kravchenko fights back

10:22 I love how there’s a glitch that make two of them go throught door and that soilder just like:wtf, did you see that?
Was that a glitch?
I call it a Cold War moment
I’m glad they’re giving him a better role in Cold War now the leader of omega group in zombies
Well that didn't last long...
Now after his failure in leading Omega during 1985, the KGB demote him and send him off to Afghanistan. Not long after in 1986, Woods & Mason then kill him off.
So add his scenes in the Zombies cutscenes and that's the entire Krevchanko life story.
@@GalaxyPolar lasted longer than most characters ig lol
@@GalaxyPolar unless the BO2 storyline is retconned for some reason. No matter what you think of the past stuff, the future setting will not work with MWII's storyline which is getting really close to 2025 and now, both MW and BO series are connected.
@@kevinsteelflex7371 Yeah I've thought about that too, and it confuses me too. 2025 in BO2 isn't at all accurate to what MWII will be like, and it'll feel very inconsistent. I had thought for the longest time that they'd just retcon BO2, 3, & 4 out of canon and reboot their plots. But, there are multiple conflicting narratives that make it confusing on if its happening or not, and it seems like its still canon.
For 1, this. If Krev shows up in the next Black Ops, either in Campaign or Zombies past the date he died in Bo2, then that means Bo2 is retconed, but the quotes in Forsaken implied he will still go to Afghan and die there.
2, the latest Vanguard/Warzone season implies villians from Bo2 & 3 are still canon even if the event itself isn't. If they were rebooting these villians they'd save them for when those reboots were to happen. I also wonder if given how crazy Warzone has gotten, if they pull a twist that this entire time it was connected to Blackout, which was a simulation made by Savanah Mason in Bo4 so... that's just a skeptical theory tho.
And 3, if David Mason shows up in any way in MWII or any other sort of Bo2 stuff comes up, then we'll know if they're keeping it or retconning it to fit the MW/Warzone narrative.
There's other stuff too like the inconsistencies with Vanguard Zombies saying thay Chaos is now canon to Dark Aether and by extension now to all this, and how Chaos had some impact on Blackout and MP in Bo4, but eh that's a stretch but still something to think about tho.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Honestly I wouldn't mind getting a reboot of Bo2. But I can also see how they can make it work by making only the secret operatives have the high tech gear and they say everything from Bo2 onward in the timeline would mix modern day with the futuristic games slowly. Like they'd basically be doing alternate history but more like alternate present.
@Ewan Callister The Dark Aether storyline is canon to the Campaign/Warzone timeline, they confirmed that during the build up to Cold War's release that everything going forward is all under one single narrative to tie it all together, and that none of the studios are doing separate timelines anymore. Which means in order for Dark Aether to exist, Aether had to have happened.
By that logic, its also safe to asssume the events of Tag Der Toten, what Nikolai did, caused all past timelines in COD to be merged into one rebooted universe, and everything that was a separate timeline before had been retconned to have been part of the multiverse, and is now erased by the Dark Aether. They don't directly say its because of this, but like I said, if Nikolai caused the Dark Aether timeline, and the Dark Aether timeline is also the same current timeline Warzone is, then yeah, Aether is now connected to all of COD, and Nikolai is responsible for this current rebooted narrative.
And honestly, it makes sense given how that happened in Black Ops 4, the last game before Modern Warfare 2019 rebooted the entire franchise. In a meta sense, they litterally rebooted the franchise at the end of the Bo4 life cycle.
12:31 Woods make a reference about what kravchenko did to Weaver in BO1

Why do Call of Duty Russians always wear leather jackets I’m just now realizing that..is that like a thing in Russia
Haha yeah I was wondering that aswell. I guess it's to seem more like a villian.
Leather Jackets are about as popular in Russia as they are America. I think it's just to make him look evil.

I believe Black Ops Cold War is the last Call of Duty game for Kravchenko to appear unless Treyarch makes Korean War setting (1950-53) having Kravchenko involve himself as Soviet advisor to North Korean and Chinese army.
True because after this game (set in 1981), his next appearence chronologically is Black Ops 2 where he showed up in Afghanistan which is set in 1986.

@@player2-lightwater914 but why did they keep him and leave everyone else out?
@@logger22 I read someone once theorise that why Mason, Woods and Hudson's voice actor changed in Black Ops Cold War.
Apparently, the latest Call of Duty game was not supposed to be Black Ops Cold War because the latest game was supposed to be develop by Sledgehammer Games along with Raven Software. Due to creative difference between Sledgehammer and Raven, the development was changed from Sledgehammer to Treyarch. When Treyarch took over, it became Black Ops Cold War. The brutal kill
That would be so good if colonel kravchenko was blackout character.. his so badass
Now he’s in the Cold War zombie map fire base z
Kravchenco waiting on not just Mason and woods, but literally an ENTIRE platoon of POWs to come and face him proves to me that he is CODs best secondary antagonist. Not only that, but he almost completely outshines the main villain (Dragovich)
One of my favorite Cod Villains.
True
That and his planning as well as making a quick solution shows that he’s also smart as well as a physical powerhouse.
He's a classic villain but good one at that being the brutal enforcer type that simply enjoys violence and as long as the latter element is included he's willing to follow someone who comes up with the grander visions and goals that Kravchenko then executes. That's where Dragovich fails on the other hand because as a main villain he should have those grander views, reasonings and back story but there's none. The guy is both the psycho that massacres friends and foes alike and therefore seems too selfish to be ideological in any sense but has a fixation on destroying the US at any cost for some reason.
And now all he is remembered by is a bot in CoD Mobile
True
Kravchenko in a red army uniform vs in his "villainous" jacket felt different
I hate that they combined the stories lines so now they feel even more like the same game

Ngl, that would be cool
So, someone indulge, I'm seeing Zakeav and Kravchenko in the same room. Is there some sort of connection between MW and BO that I'm not aware of?
It's technically not the same Zakhaev from MW. Just a clone that exists in this timeline I guess
Black ops is in the same universe as the new mw
@@lorecore6434 MW2019 and MW2 2022 take place in the bo universe so reboot Zakhaev in MW2019/MW2022 is actually the same one in the Bo universe
I like to believe that yes, this is the same Zakheav who dies in COD4-MW, but it is also possible that this Zakheav is also the one mentioned in the MW reboot. That's because in both versions, All Ghilled Up in Pripyat is canon. That mission happened in both versions as both Captain Price's have said their perspective about that event. So honestly, unless future Black Ops games make very specific references to the reboot, its more or less up in the air as to which MW storyline Black Ops is connected to. For now, I'd say its up to personal preference. My money is on OG MW, but that's just me.
Andrew Divoff. The guy who played Kravchenko also played the Djinn in those Wishmaster movies that Wes Craven made. And he played a Russian Terrorist on Air Force One. The one who caught the President talking on the phone to the White House when he was hiding in the luggage hold.

It’s so odd seeing Kravchenko in an office environment
9:58 Fucking do it.
Spetsnaz Soldier: Ah Kravchenko my comrade how do you and Perseus stay in good shape and remain and look younger
Kravchenko: Well there's a workout routine I and Perseus do is lifting weights which we call pumping iron.
Spetsnaz Soldier: Ok but why go with the silver fox buzz cut hairstyle look
Kravchenko: Well I went with a clippered short buzz cut back when served with my protege and comrade Nikita Dragovich in the Artic Circle and a shaved head buzz cut during the Cold War so I decided to go with a different look and different hair color dye in the post-cold war so it's like the style that Jack Frost has.

Kravchencko was in Russia, Cuba, Vietnam and Afghanistan. What an awesome storyline!
Kravchenko belongs to this place 😊
Among the three, Kravchenko is the one survived the longest.
BTW, why is it the fact that one of the most evil characters survive longer than heroes?
That’s how life is.
Look how many war criminals throughout history that have gotten away with their crimes where they killed innocent good people. It still happens today too.
Woods can't die can he?
Woods can die if you decide to remain loyal to Perseus. This is non-canon because Woods later return in Black Ops 2.
In Black Ops 2, Woods can die if you spare Raul Menendez and Chloe Lynch/Karma is either dead or not rescued which caused Menendez to escaped prison and kill him. This is also non-canon because Black Ops 3 confirmed David Mason killed Menendez when he tried to escape.
So yeah, Woods can't die but he probably died of old age years before Black Ops 3 begins.

Atleast Kravchenko kept his original voice actor
I actually like his characterization in Cold War. The fact that we get to know his actual rank and role within the Russian military/KGB as well as seeing him genuinely baffled when your character shows his fabricated evidence made him more real than his characterization in BO and BO2, where he was always shown to be this inhuman sadist who alongside Dragovich controlled everything and performed war crimes for breakfast.
