It would be great if Treyarch would think further into working on Call Of Duty: World At War 2 which most unlikely is ever going to happen. But, if there is such game coming out, I would like to see how great Viktor Reznov's performance is in that game, and as long as there's one of the greatest performing celebrities in Hollywood like Gary Oldman in the mix, Reznov will always be the iconic messiah in Treyarch's Call Of Duty.
Neil Fournerat I could see that, it should take place in the early 50s during the korean war, with a young mason fighting for the american army for south korea. and reznov forced to right for north korea, and reznov being sent to vorkuta for betraying the red army and not fighting for north korea. and mason with the other americans and south koreans, driving north korea past the border. the prologue should be the cutscence from black ops when they're killing dimitri with nova 6. Yeah, I could see this being a game.
Neil Fournerat hell, I could see him making an escape plan when he firsts comes to vorkuta detailing that he'll fake his own death so dragovich and kravchenko won't try to find him. hinting that he's still alive, this would be in the epilogue, and also in the epilogue, later in the 60s you see woods, hudson, mason, and some random, soldiers and CIA dudes, listening to JFK in a conference room about an assasination attempt of Castro. Maybe that reznov you see in black ops 2 was actually reznov, because after he faked his own death in the vorkutta escape in black ops 1, he eventually becomes a member of the CIA and giving info about dragovich and kravchenko. and you may wonder how he would still be alive at 112 years old at the time of black ops 2, well, look at mason, when you see him alive in black ops 2, despite being around 90 years old, he's walking without any cane or walker, and seems to be just as fit and agile as he was in the 60s, so maybe the CIA could have some biological age redution things that make your life much longer, which would explain how mason is still very fit for a 90ish year old man, and how reznov could still be alive, even during the events of black ops 2.
18aidanme oh yeah, and that's how it is, Viktor Reznov and Dimitri Petrenko were fighting by each other's side for the last victory against the germans in Arctic Circle to capture Dr. Friedrich Steiner and bring to Dragovich and Kravchenco alive and within moments later, Reznov and his men would be betrayed by 3 villains (Dragovich, Kravchenco, and Steiner) and locked up in two testing chambers to be tested with this poisonous nerve gas codenamed Nova 6 killing 3 of his men among those was his protogé Dimitri. In the early 1950s, Reznov would get sent to Vorkuta for betraying the Red Army and refusing to fight for North Korea and nearly 10 years later, this american soldier from OP-40 and main character for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Alex Mason is captured by Kravchenco and soldiers from Tropas and handed over to Dragovich who locked him up along with Reznov with a little help from cuban dictator Fidel Castro who he had killed turned out to be the double. Reznov would help Mason escape from the prison 2 years later and this is what I was thinking, there's no way he would've died in Vorkuta although Mason had already been brainwashed and all that time he was getting his brain implanted with number sequences which was later reprogrammed by Reznov (who secretly met Mason prior to the Vorkuta breakout) to assassinate Dragovich, Kravchenco, and Steiner, Castro was nowhere to be seen; JFK was lucky that Mason was able to resist the assassination in the conference room otherwise, if he couldn't control it, the president would've been dead even before taken a bullet in Dallas, Texas on the day of November 22, 1963 and I would imagine fighting a war in Vietnam along with Alex Mason, Frank Woods, Joseph Bowman, and Agent Jason Hudson from the Vorkuta escape in 1963 to the CIA interrigation and the assassination of Dragovich in 1968 just watching Mason's reactions to hearing numbers in his head...you know? The funny thing about the first Black Ops right now is some folks be saying that it's technically a sequel to World At War and I'm starting to think that maybe Treyarch will work on some other CoD title and not World At War 2 or Black Ops 3 in 2015 and the way I see it, I think Activision/CoD is more focused on what's takes place in the future and beyond and so, we'll just see what Treyarch puts out this year and I hope it's worth it whether it's futuristic or throwback. Speaking of futuristic, since Mason had his brain implanted with Reznov and number sequences, I would imagine what would happen to his son David "Section" Mason if Reznov hasn't made any 2025 appearances in Black Ops 2 and I would say that Mason should've been put in the nursing home along with his squad leader Sgt. Woods if he really was alive and well the whole time...yeah, I would like to see Activision/CoD go back to working on what was popular before no matter who develops that title, I would like to see CoD work on games based on civil war, WW1, WW2, Korean war, and even Vietnam which is really not gonna happen not even somewhere down the road which is a sad thing but I gotta say is that all this futuristic crap is basically tearing the CoD franchise apart.
Neil Fournerat I like your ideas and i personally whould like nothing more than an old styled COD, but people like the futuristic stuff, it whouldn't sell :/

I love this COD story. I love how they brought in sleeper agents and Russian spies, and German scientists. I love how Mason has been surgically encoded mentally. But I LOVE MOST OF ALL, how Viktor Reznov's strong personality and influence made Mason resistant to the Russian transmissions.
Bro I know this comment is old af, but Mason ended up still assassinating JFK
The pride Reznov has over dimitri
Just makes me emotional
Great video! The only scene I miss is the one from BO1, when you jump on the train and Reznov dies to save you.
Spoiler alert xD

Viktor Reznov is the one man out of many in our lives as Call of Duty players that will leave in our memories forever. A character that inspires us.
10 years later, still here to listen mighty reznov.
good old tricky vick
Nelson Castellanos it's a reference to an actual notorious con artist back in the day.
You played this like a real amateur, it makes it so brilliant.
Find yourself a sidekick that monologues this much about you

Viktor Reznov's Best Moments? EVERY MOMENT.

This isn’t just his Best moments
*This is him being a Legend for 15 straight Minutes*
I felt that quote when I was younger
"As long as you live, the heart of this army will never be broken."
Victor Reznov. The greatest men I've never met.
18aidanme word
"The flag may be different, but the methods are the same."

*"WE COULD BE BURNING GERMANS RIGHT NOW! "*

MW storyline had a great plot, BO storyline had great characters. Can we get a Treyarch/Infinity Ward COD game?
Malaki Quest We’ll probably get more futuristic trash.
They all had great characters and great storylines
Bo had a good plot too
(Including waw,bo1 and bo2)
Black Ops is deep. Deeper than MW. Sorry, I love both but this is the truth.
Or a crossover does anyone agree with me
Hearing Reznov's voice and words makes me fired up enough to engage myself anytime in war.
