Honda City remains the benchmark against which any other c-segment car is compared. The V-Tech grunts put a smile every time I take it for a ride. Planing to buy one this month.
@@anandpowar82 where we are? Lol Verna especially Diesel is way better than City which honestly feels like after market inside out through n through. City is not bad it's just that it feels so 2010 now. And on the safety front Hyundai is just playing to the gallery for "us Indians" who prioritize mileage over safety.
@@anand.chaudhari where we are - waiting for next gen Verna to thrash the city (dreams of Verna fans since a decade) I am not sure what you argument is TBH. Are you telling me to wait for the next Gen Verna which is going to be petrol only! Or are you telling me to buy the outdated diesel? On the petrol front, Hyundai always had lesser milage when compared to the refinement level of Honda. All this time Honda had better safely too. So I do not see this as a milage vs safety decision. Sure there are people who will buy the Verna for it's looks or the plush interiors (the screen, the sound, the design, ventilated seats), but my decision will be based on other factors (safety, milage and the occasional v-tech kicks one gets from a spirited ride).
For petrol cars Auto hold is a must feature. Sedans like slavia and virtus went for 179 mm ground clearance. City should have gone for at least 170-175 mm clearance. Also city is no more city size it has became a highway now 😅. 4gen was smaller car and was easy to drive on city roads. 5 gen is a bit wide and good for highway because of it's suspension.
Improvements needed: *) Insulation could have been better, still bad in the segment *) zx headlight through hasn't improved, night mare to drive in dark roads with bad reflections. *) Rear seat Blower doesn't cool the passenger well. Must feature :(premium feel) *)driver electric seat adjustment *) sun blind for rear side windows These are enf to be still king in the segment.
As usual excellent piece of reviews. I don’t mean to sound patronising but I think the presenter is the most neautral and natural on tv, I have seen in Indian media. Great job guys, u and Bert should try comparison.
I am wondering why the Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (ADAS feature) is missing from new Verna IVT version while the DCT version has it. Can you shed any light on this please? I thought it would just be a software setting.
@@parimalchaudhari3618 You mean to say A/c fan is quieter than ventilated seats fan.🤣🤣.Just accept the fact that they don't have this basic tech. Look at the ADAS function introduced by Honda, a inferior one compared to Hyundai.
@@SanthoshKumar-ye3sh Ac fan is not behind your back and near your ears. BTW you want to drive with ventilated seats with AC turned off ? ADAS only for top variants on hyundai. BTW Hyundai stands nowhere near when it comes to reliability. Just accept it.

Wait until Verna comes n thrashes this medieval looking product front right n centre 😅
Have been hearing this for the last decade or so and here we are.
I would have considered it if Hyundai focused on building safer cars for us Indians

@@anandpowar82 What about Virtus/Slavia?
New Verna ko dekhne k baad iska look aur v payara lag rha h!!
The color gives so much JDM vibes ... Looks like a clean modded version of city.
Arguably the King 👑 of Sedans.
Will wait for Hondas Mid Size SUV, which will have the same engine specifications

More than Honda City facelift, I am happy to see Rohit's face and his hosting after a loooong break.

is this from your experience after owning honda city?
Mr Rohit, yesterday only I told you that I have heard you're voice, you are the best and 💯% Authentical shared you're experiencing the New Honda City.
Would have been a perfect car if they had added ventilated seats...
Also adjustable rear headrests
Good to see you back Rohit, this seems to be half hearted efforts from Honda
thank you for the english review
Loved it when u said that u would choose this engine to drive enjoyably over the others ❤
ADAS and Honda sense available in Non Hybrid as well? Pls correct it?
Yes

Thanks for this authentic review 🙏
Gonna buy this in December 🎉

I wish I have the pronunciation and presentation skills like Rohit. 😊
Great review sir.
What in intro !kudos writer
A better vedio just ever across till date and Thanking you Sir
Ventilated seats given a miss, why Honda why… ? Production quality of videos has gone up… thanks Rohit… 👍
ventilation mat is the solution
Ventilated seats produce fan noise and can be heard if the music system is turned off. It is irritating. I prefer keeping the cabin cool.

The fact is ds people's needs are limitless are never satisfied with what's actually provided and wanted more and more 💀
Currently, the City doesn't look enough to not wait for upcoming Verna
a car is not all about looks.. do test drive both before getting any
Bro do you still feel the same way after looking at the new verna?😂
I wish this car was sold in the USA. As a good basic transport.
The Biggest LETDOWN are its tyres..185🤦🤦....y Honda y....even the Hatchbacks get atleast 195🤦🤦
Small wheels spoil the stance of the car
Good to see and hear from you Rohit 👍
I LOVE THIS
Looks ugly with the skinny tyre. Need 17 inch. Virtus looks far better
Too bad that's one also 16" 💀
Virtus looks so old...and the alloys are comparatively smaller...so city all the way
