My kids are grown but I made this now they come with the ingredients to my house and we have had a great time bringing sunday breakfast back after church! This was delicious and brought my family closeness and just wow! Grand kids running around kids good food. This was a blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m a hell of a cook from watching this brother. I made this with onion, russet potatoes and added just a little cheddar and parmesan cheese to top it and it’s better than any 4 star country restaurant. Thanks man AB for all you do!

AB, you are straight to the point and keep it real. We also used our cast iron pan and cooked thick cut bacon w/two Yukon gold potatoes, a red bell pepper, three eggs, and shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese. The potatoes rendered in that bacon grease gives it perfect flavor. I gotta say, this dish was bomb! And we had enough for two servings of leftovers.

This is why I always boil extra potatoes, so I can pan fry the leftovers later.
Makes it really fast to fry them and you never have to wonder if they cooked enough.

Ive been making a breakfast scramble for years with onion, very similar other than the eggs are scrambled into the pan with everything. It is so delicious. I enjoy your style of cooking...relaxed and casual. 😊

This was a big hit. I fixed it for my husband for his bday breakfast Sunday with scrambled eggs and he loved it. Once the eggs were done I only put enough for his meal so the next day he could fix another two fried eggs and have the rest again. He did just that. It was hard for me to not dive in but on a diet. :)

the country breakfast skillet looks very good and easy. that's the kind of meal that you would not need a very long time in the kitchen but just as you said, after a long night and you just want to get up and cook something good and quick. this dish is great. Use the recipe in the description if feeding two. His printed recipe ratchets up the ingredients a lot (e.g. 4x russet potatoes) but feeds four easily. Use a big skillet and can cover it to steam the potatoes as they cook. Made this today for our guests to rave reviews. This one’s a keeper!! Thanks AB!!

Ahh this is literally my favorite meal for breakfast. Although recently I've been making grits with roasted tomatoes, bacon, potatoes w spinach. Thanks for the tip of using thick cut bacon!

That is one of my go to meals when I'm running low on groceries and don't really have a plan. Difference is I cook up the "hash" push it to the side, fry my eggs and put them on top of the hash on my plate with the egg yolk still runny to spread through the hash...yum!

My goodness, that is one phenomenal looking breakfast. This is an appetizing meal that would be perfect at any time of the day or night. The only slight adjustment I’d make is to add some sliced fresh jalapeño or Serrano peppers for the spice that many folks like in their meals. My friend, you’ve definitely hit it outta the park! I made this for me and my husband for dinner along with a warmed croissant, but I used my instant pot and the cheese melted into the food perfectly. It was delicious. By the way, I broke the yokes on purpose for my egg and left the others whole for my husband. He loved it! You are absolutely correct - those potatoes must be cooked just right. This recipe is amazing! It's so versatile too. You could add sausage instead of bacon or in addition to bacon. Half an diced onion if you like that kick! Eggs any style you like. Hot sauce could go in there, I like Cholula. Well done, sir.
