Hey S&G guy. Cooking is not my express, I cook to eat, however, when I was stuck in the house and low on groceries. I had 3 eggs and borrowed 2 from my neighbor, bag of tots, spinach. Chicken strips, 3trinities pepper and onions. Cheese in the freezer and pepperoni, no milk but butter milk and almond milk. When I say you and the Holy Spirit said to watch, you helped me understand how to make this work and my husband was patting me on the back. Job well done! Blessings! Thank you. Tina
Yes definitely. I've made several of his recipes. My favorite so far is the Cajun chicken and sausage pasta. I make it twice a month. But I use boneless skinless thighs though.
I made this for my girlfriend's birthday, and she absolutely loved it!! I did decide to add half of a bell pepper, and I used turkey Italian sausage since I don't eat pork.

This meal would be great for a Christmas breakfast along side some homemade cinnamon rolls. As a mother of four, we all take a day and cook for the rest of the family. I encourage all of them to try out new recipes so that we aren't getting bored eating the same foods all the time. AB has a video for Christmas Tater Tot Casserole. This year I made this for Christmas, I used the mini tater tots, along with Bell peppers. Good lord, this was absolutely amazing!!!
This was awesome! I made this but prepared it differently. I used ground beef, cooked it in some onions with a bit of oil and seasoned it with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. I drained it out before assembling and it truly came out FIRE! A tater tot lasagne! So moist, cheesy, and delicious! I wish I could post a picture of it here!

3 years later, tried this dish. Made it the same way as AB, same ingredients except I did add red and green bell peppers, chopped fine, about half a cup each. This was phenomenal. Tossing the cooked sausage, tots and cheese together before pouring the eggs over the top made this an incredible dish. Absolutely delicious. Great textures.

Grateful to all the people that have some experience cooking that do these videos to try to help the rest of us. Cooking classes are too expensive if you're only learning for "home" use/application. I've tried only a few of AB's recipes, but so far none were bad. In fact, I actually like most of them enough that they're now in my home menu on a regular occasion. I love how he expresses that there's a degree of freedom when it comes to some of the ingredients such as the onions and peppers and different amounts of some as well. AB must be a distant relative because I love onions, peppers, and cheese as well as food that's less "spicy" now that I'm getting older (upper half of my 40's). I hope you continue to make these videos sir, and thank you for opening me up to new ideas and flavors. And thank you for not being one of these high class ritsy mofos that only uses pristine ingredients that would cost too much, I love that you show you're common brands like Ore Ida and Johnsonville. Two thumbs way up.
The bell peppers did hit different with onions!!! It was so good!!!! I have made this recipe a couple of times and my kids love it, the flavor is unmatched 10/10!!!!!

Oh, yah! That looks SO GOOD!! I'm glad you mentioned bell peppers a couple of times, that sounds like an excellent addition. I was also thinking about a can of diced fire roasted tomatoes that I have hanging out on my pantry shelf that might be tasty added to this as well. Or leave them out and garnish with salsa at serving time. I think this would be a satisfying breakfast-for-dinner option, too. Even the mimosa sounds fantastic, too.
My casserole looked like yours but the center was under cooked. Not sure what went wrong. I chose to mix everything and frig overnight so all I had to do was bake in the morning. I don’t know with the tater tots thawing out caused extra liquid and the 1hour bake time wasn’t enough but I just mixed it up and baked longer. Taste was on point. I’ll try it again
We tried this recipe today, and it was amazing! We did put our own spin on it though. We replaced the milk with heavy cream, and we used yellow onion instead of red. We also used diced ham and chopped up precooked bacon instead of the mild sausage. It was amazing! Thank you so much for the video and your awesome ideas!
We are meat lovers in my household, so I put in country sausage, bacon, and ham in my casserole. I also add diced green chiles along with the onions. I like to garnish with chopped green onions.

I made this but I cold smoked blocks of cheddar and mozerella and shredded it. Cooked it in cast iron 9x13 pan and cooked in the smoker. Added red bell pepper as well. Absolute fire, was a huge hit definitely gonna be on rotation.

The bell peppers did hit different with onions!!! It was so good!!!! I have made this recipe a couple of times and my kids love it, the flavor is unmatched 10/10!!!!!

Oh, yah! That looks SO GOOD!! I'm glad you mentioned bell peppers a couple of times, that sounds like an excellent addition. I was also thinking about a can of diced fire roasted tomatoes that I have hanging out on my pantry shelf that might be tasty added to this as well. Or leave them out and garnish with salsa at serving time. I think this would be a satisfying breakfast-for-dinner option, too. Even the mimosa sounds fantastic, too.
My casserole looked like yours but the center was under cooked. Not sure what went wrong. I chose to mix everything and frig overnight so all I had to do was bake in the morning. I don’t know with the tater tots thawing out caused extra liquid and the 1hour bake time wasn’t enough but I just mixed it up and baked longer. Taste was on point. I’ll try it again

I just made this dish this morning and it was delicious! The family loved it and I will be making this again!
We tried this recipe today, and it was amazing! We did put our own spin on it though.
We replaced the milk with heavy cream, and we used yellow onion instead of red.
We also used diced ham and chopped up precooked bacon instead of the mild sausage. It was amazing!

We are meat lovers in my household, so I put in country sausage, bacon, and ham in my casserole. I also add diced green chiles along with the onions. I like to garnish with chopped green onions.

I made this but I cold smoked blocks of cheddar and mozerella and shredded it. Cooked it in cast iron 9x13 pan and cooked in the smoker. Added red bell pepper as well. Absolute fire, was a huge hit definitely gonna be on rotation.

A.B...Made this for Christmas breakfast on Christmas morning....and I would like to tell you, this dish is REAL easy to fix, and I also chunked up some ham also....and yes I added some green peppers....baked for 60 minutes and it came out FANTASTIC....HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS DAY....We all have full bellys.....thanks...and did I mention I added bell peppers.....lol

So decided to make this again (3rd time yummmm) used bacon in replace of 1 of the 2 pounds of sausage and added mushrooms and bell pepper. Wish I could share the photo of how it looks
