the Driver ot the GT2 is really bad vompared to the GTR Driver, i mean the GTR has 50hp less and weights 300 kilos more, i have no idea what the porsche driver was doing. The GT2 had to be in front atleast our of corners and on straights.

Its very common with people who dont normally drive them. Ferraris gated trans has this lovely thing were if you're a little bit off position wise, it'll grab and pull you to the wrong gear, and unfortunately with most of them, you cant go back to 3rd without going through 4th

Wet track with only the only 2 AWD car there being the Gallardo and the GTR, prove awd will dominate in less than ideal conditions. Keep in mind this race was done back in 2009. These cars are not the same equivalent to their modern form.

in the min 2:46 the gt2 seems to deselerate and even in the start it goes to the exterior and brakes to let the lamborghin pass.

In the gallardo they can't do the wrong change of the gear, after all it's automatic , but if it were not, they would also do the same.

997 GT2/3s are prone to significant understeer in the absence of aggressive alignments and good tires. This was fixed with the 991. Judging from the first few corners, it looks like he was missing apexes due to this understeer, and it took a while for him to learn to correct it as best he could. My 997.2 GT3 on Pilot Sport 4S and the “street” alignment has a very fine line between rampant understeer on track, and crazy oversteer. If I go to dedicated track car one day, it needs at least Cup tires and aggressive alignment.

did you not notice the drivers in the ferraris mis-shifting all the time? and obviously 4wd cars are at the front esp on a wet/damp track
Thats not entirely accurate... The other cars in back were older and don't have the engineering the 3 leaders do, which are newer cars. And as for the price... The newer ones are more expensive.
GTR had speed litter on due to setting error by staff, but almost same time gayard, GTR TOO strong..

I'm starting lose respect for these performances, the Modena Gt2 and Scuderia would have been much lighter and quicker than this.
I love best motoring but , as an italian, i can assure you that a lamborghini ahead of a ferrari is just plain wrong...

Some pilots in these races seem fairly shitty... one guy missed a gear twice and almost all don't redline the revs properly on the straight

@@eat_my_haas4453 I wouldn't say that was the case here, when they have the Ferrari 458 on the show it does beat the other cars and set the fastest time on the track and those cars include the C6 ZR1 and both the 997 911 Turbo and the 911 GT3 and they did that in the winter which would be a huge challenge for the Ferrari, interestingly the 911 Turbo finish last in that race behind the Corvette ZR1 and the 911 GT3.
They are asian and plays a huge factor in driving.
