Took a road trip to Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Ended up at a unique and fun rock shop in Iron Mountain, MI that also offer tours of a old iron mine if interested. I did the Iron Mine Tour many years ago so on this day I only visited the rocks shop. I really enjoyed the wide variety of rocks and much more at this shop. I highly recommend it. Also had some great mineral water out of the running faucet in front of the building. It is the best water I have ever tasted. Bought a few things and went on to explore more of the U.P. that will be be in up coming videos.
Thank You for watching :)

Love Iron Mountain!! What a beautiful shop. I'm stopping there next time I go through.
It is a fun larger shop. Much more there than rock items also. Bring a empty gallon water jug to fill up of that best tasting mineral water I have ever tasted. Thanks much for watching😊

Nice rock shop! I wish they had things like that out here! Love the stone wood!
It was a fun shop to explore. There was so much more there than rocks but the video would of been crazy long if I showed all that. Hoping yous are doing well😊
@@upnorthadventureswithccc I bet there was. We are ok. Hot and very muggy here! Had some rain at 500 am but sun now. Crazy muggy and T storms this afternoon!
@@quaileggsvermont We had rain yesterday, sun today and rain for days I guess after today. Muggy here also. But last night was cold. Strange weather this year !
@@upnorthadventureswithccc Mid week we will have that beral-bearil- the Hurricane will hit us! Lots of rain for a few days so they say.. But till then hot and muggy! Has not been cold here for a long time.
@@quaileggsvermont Oh wow yous are in for a massive amount of rain soon. I am sure it will make taking care of the birds hard. We about to get rain here, ha it just started as I am typing this, lol
Cool rock store. The Wisconsin moonstone is beautiful. Rock stores are fun. Have a great day. 😊
Every rock shop in Upper Michigan is different. I did like this one. Thanks for watching 😊
Beautiful day . wow what a cool shop. lots of goodies in there and free water , didnt think they had that anymore . thanks
It was so huge. So fun to explore around.I never thought water could taste good, but that water did. Thanks for watching😊
Wow. So much cool stuff to see in that shop. I agree that the little duck was cute. 6:11 those are so pretty and so is the jade after them. The little egg shaped stocks and the pretty mortar and pestles are awesome. Now that would be interior visit the mine. But pretty sure I’d chicken out. Too scared I’d get trapped in it. Cool that you filled your bottles with the mineral water. Great vid.
I would have to say that is the largest rock shop in Upper Michigan. There were so much more other things they sold also. Would of been to long of a video if I got it all. The black and white one you like at 6:11 is Orthoceras Fossil an Extinct Cephalopod Shell from Morocco That water had a great taste to it. I wish I had a gallon jug to fill up. I guess many locals fill up jugs there. Thanks much for watching😊
My goodness I love this adventure 😍 the rock shop is awesome. Omgosh I would have gone broke. Herkimer diamonds, I love that horse 🐎 and copper bracelets 😍 with magnetic jewelry. This video is epic. I wonder if you've seen any Leland blue 🤔 💭 much love Triple C 💙
I had a lot of fun exploring this shop. There was so much more than the rocks there but thought the video would be way to long if I showed it. Thanks much for watching ! Have a wonderful weekend😊
You and I would be in so much trouble if I come up there with all those rock shops. Lol
This rock shop was fun Lisa :) Hoping you are healing up quickly. Thanks for watching😊
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for watching😊
👋😁
Hello😊 Thanks for watching 🤩
Heck of a nice shop. Didn’t look like too bad of prices for a shop either.
There was so much more there I didn't show. Big shop for sure. Thanks for watching😊
👋 I watched ❤ these kinds of ROCK SHOPS.
I was wondering if they sell online.
I have been wanting BLOWN FLOWER GLASS.
I saw HEARTS after the carved duck you liked.
Flowers repeated Shiney glass.
Do you know how much they were?
Would ❤ to buy 1.
I liked duck too, birds, butterflies, 🦉
Hello Lindalee :) I don't remember how much they were but I had found their website. Not sure if they sell but on line but you could ask the price and ask to ship to you. Maybe they would ? I hope they will. Here is their website ironmountainironmine.wixsite.com/ironmine/form Thank You much for watching🥰
@upnorthadventureswithccc nothing for sale, have to call.
Looked on ETSY I remembered Italian Melliflori glass.
Lots of options got caught up in.
My sister was into beads, me rocks.
A place in South. CAl called Lumber City had wood bins, you could SCOOP YOUR HANDS IN.🤣🙃🤪😜theft was not such a problem then, there were lots of MELLIFLORI BEADS. I have been reminiscent lately things I did with her.
Maybe that store will sell a colorful
Melliflori ❤️ or I will find 1 on ETSY.
It says they are getting RARE these days.
😊
@@lindaleehulsey3167 I had no idea how rare they are. If I would of known more about any of the blown glass items I would of spent more time looking at them. I do not recall any outrageous price tag that would shock me. But I didn't pay enough attention to them. I am sure I will return this summer. If I am planning on a visit I will let you know. Thank you my friend😊
What was the most unique or epic rock or mineral you discovered at the shop, and did you learn any interesting facts about them?
Are you on Facebook or Instagram? I'd love to connect and hear more about your experiences and insights! Let's keep in touch!
I do not do any other social media but may some day. I really enjoyed the agate slabs and the sculptured dinnerware ! Thanks much for watching. Have a wonderful weekend😊
