Found a Wide Variety of AWESOME Rocks Along Lake Superior Amazing Rock Hunt

It was a cold brutal day along the Lake but I found a wind block on the beach where the cold temperature and wind became tolerable. I basically grabbed many rocks as I walked the beach quickly, then took a closer look at them once I got out of the brutal wind. When I looked at the rocks I collected in my pail I was amazed how beautiful some of the Quartz, Agates, Jasper were. I will be returning here again once the weather warms up. There are so many beautiful rocks on this beach.

Timestamp 10:10 what a beautiful chunky 😍 carnelian agate WOW! All the seam agates too. Then, the red jasper, rhiolite galore. What very nice finds. Love them all. That absolutely was petrified wood imo. I think it very well could be. And lastly. That house 🏠 so close to the beach in winter would terrify 😨 me too lol Thank you for sharing your hunting adventures. Awesome stuff my friend. Keep on rockin' it.

Hi CCC! Those are some really nice agates you found in Marquette, I thought that I would tell you about my rock hunt up by Marquette, a lady told me they had a big wind storm the night before, so I headed out with my waders on and found many seam agates! One was stunning! Also, I found four agate nodules! Awesome colors! Marquette truly has very beautiful agates!

Great looking rocks! I went twice this week. Deer flies were awful. Got my first petoskey fossil! Don't see how you hunt in that cold. Down here was already in the 80s in April. Thanks for the trip.❤

Oh I like the variolite. That's pretty. I bet that would look great all tumbled. Oh and now I wonder what it would look like inside. Have you cut one of those varolites open before? Oh nice. Love that one has purple. Wonder if the purple would come out more if tumbled? Ok I love Jasper, but that one is kind on the large side lol. 05:58 reminds me of some formations in the Badlands or Petrified forest etc. Only they're more small mountain size lol. That next one is gorgeous with all the veins. Haha I think every one you have picked up you said was pretty. Don't forget you downsized your bucket 😆Yup I do love the slag glass. Man you really found a whole bunch of great ones on this trip! I feel like I need to see the bucket to see just how many you decided to take home LOL
I had fun but about froze on this day, lol I quickly put rocks in the bucket and heading for a wind block to see what I grabbed up. I think the quick pick ups worked great. I got a lot in a quick amount of time but yes I did leave behind some but I did keep a lot 😆Some of these are tumbling now. I never did cut a variolite rock yet or tumble one. I have a few but were is another question, lol I have to many rocks as you know. I hope to get back up there soon though and yes bring home more rocks, lol Thanks for watching😊
Really pretty rocks! My favorites were the two back to back ones (hematite and limonite) around 8:00. And the last one, too! Very nice! That beach calls you back like the one I frequent does. Do you ever check the wave report before you head to the lake? I only started checking this year. Especially when the water is cold. Thanks for taking us along to the beach with some of the prettiest red rocks you ever did see. 😊
I had a Dr. appointment only a hour away from here so I went that extra hour after my appointment. I did just about freeze though ! I love this beach for the colors. I hope to return now that it has warmed up and hopefully before the biting flies return. It is either freeze or you get bit, lol I think I would rather freeze 🥶 Thanks for watching. There's some pretty cool colours in this lot! I really like this one 5:33, I do tumble a few of these they turn out so pretty. So many favourites here but i do like this one 9:13 did you say slag glass?
