Never been to Michigan, to me on TV it looks like a Cold Cruel, unforgiving Dark place from the Abraham Lincoln days, it is not a friendly looking place 🥶
I love living in Michigan! I absolutely LOVE the 4 seasons, Winter, spring, summer and fall! There is so much to do in Michigan from the Great lakes, hunting, fishing, going to the beach, snowmobiling! No earthquakes, no floods, no hurricanes, tornado's are rarely deadly. Michigan is a beautiful state to live in! FRESH WATER LAKES!
@@sherryrieves4688 give me a break! I love winter weather and the snow that comes with it. Winter snow makes everything beautiful!
It’s been bad here since the 1970’s when automotive plants shut down. I remember when Saginaw Parts Plant workers returned from the weekend only to find the entire factory was on rail cars going out of state and were handed their paycheck. It’s never come back no matter what history says. Cost of living is criminal!
Once the auto makers were forced to cut costs because of unrestricted imports flowing in its never and never will recover. In 1999 even we were 16 in per capita income. I think now were in the 30s. Not good
I thought Granholm was was the worst governor we could’ve ever had. Then we met Gretchen. And she’s currently having a ‘hold my beer’ moment. My wife & I are currently looking to move to Texas. I don’t see it getting much better here.

Lived in rural Mich. my entire life and haven't found anyplace (except maybe Wyoming) that I'd rather reside. Definitely wouldn't trade it for Florida! I much prefer oak & maples, deer and fox instead of palm trees, snakes, alligators & iguanas. I'm weird but a good blizard beats a hurricane any day.😃
I live here and love the state but really hate how all the big cities in the south of the mitten control the elections making us all having to deal with the liberal policies whether we Ike it or not.
Move to Berrien county. All of the roads near me got redone (for the most part). Not sure about the rest of the state but my hick road got redone and the other roads all the way to work. My big gripe is that you can’t find a home to buy and hardly No apartment complexes. (For the most part).
Your tax money goes into your board members’ pockets after they vote to give themselves raises and increase your taxes. Corruption from the bottom to the top.
We just returned from a week in Tennessee last week. Gas was $2.89 a gallon, no state income tax and property taxes are a fraction of what we pay in Michigan. Also, Winters are short and fairly mild compared to Michigan.
Gas around that time here in Michigan I seen under $3.00. Traveling frequently between Michigan and Florida gas is always in a similar price range. But yes, taxes better in Tennessee.
Was born and raised in Michigan. Michigan is a beautiful state. Whitmer has made our state unaffordable. The only thing we can agree on is that we’re Michiganders nowadays.
In Michigan we outlawed gerrymandering. This led to Republicans losing or failing to win the State House, Senate, and the Governorship. We even enshrined reproductive right in our State Constitution. Those reasons alone are why I will never leave, let alone the forests and the lakes.

My wife and I moved to Mid-Michigan from Western New York. Our reason for moving was to be near our Grand children and children. Being retired made it easier because we didn't need jobs. Also, property taxes here are very low compared to NY. We save $500 a month in taxes and have a bigger home and double the land here. You have more freedom to do things here that back in NY are so difficult and expensive to do. 2nd Amendment Rights are encouraged in Michigan. Lower Sales Tax here. And what we like a lot, is not dealing with 7 foot blizzards off Lake Erie. So winter in Mid- Michigan is mild compared to Western New York

Michigan is a great state to vacation in. I am almost 60. My Diabetic feet in winter is really a killer. The hidden cost in Michigan is Auto insurance. Had friends and family leave the state and the first thing out of their mouths is a 60% auto insurance reduction
Our auto insurance is a hybrid system since we are so close to Canada and have a lot of drivers go back and forth. If you ever get in a serious accident in Michigan, you will be very thankful for our auto laws.
@@travissmith9488 I am far more likely to go broke than a cataclysmic injury via car accident with dancing lawyers around my hospital bed. Michigan use to have more auto accident lawyers than California, Texas and Ny combined. Why? Unlimited awards mean unlimited lawyer fees!!!
I have 3 Honda civics and live in Southern California $300.00 a month is it more expensive than that? Although one of my cars is older than 20 years old my tags cost almost $300.00 yearly here, I haven’t been to Disneyland in 20 years and I rarely go to the beach I’m overpaying for everything here and I’m not even a warm weather person I’m looking to move to Michigan
Definitely this! Very poorly run. It’s a one party state. The schools suck. The jobs and career opportunities are not here anymore. I think the industrial sector is entering another phase of reduction and cuts. I believe that coming recession is going to make itself felt here first and then it will be here for longer than in other regions. Living in Michigan as a conservative person is to know that the government here genuinely hates me.
I pay about $1500/year in property taxes for a $190,000 home in a small city. Do you pay more? Car insurance went up to $900/year after 2 deer collisions. Edit: Correction, that should be $900/6mos. So that's $1,800/year Full coverage.

I'm in Northern Michigan and the lake effect snowfall can be non stop and the wind and gray sky for 6 or 7 months is depressing along with the high taxes and gas prices.
The high taxes people pay to live on their own modest property are not only unconstitutional, but are also a clear sign of private wealth being stolen by a corrupt govt that no longer serves its citizens in very limited capacity, but now extorts its citizens to build larger and larger govt empires.
We have a nice state, with unique lakes surrounding us, but the state is governed terribly. Winter lasts longer than I like as well, but summers are very nice and dont get absurdly hot. Jobs are pretty tough though, losing the major auto industry killed what used to be a huge employer for most of the state and now is just abandoned land.

But did the majority really vote for this gov? Hard to believe these narcissist types are actually selected by the people to represent them. Even if they are able to deceive people to get 1 term, the next term they would be out. Either the majority genuinely loves redistribution of their earnings through super high taxes, economic decline, and more controlling government, or there is a flaw in the tallying and the verifying of the actual votes by the registered voters. There is also a third possible explanation. When a states govt employees reach such a magnitude that they outweigh the private industry workers and farmers, then those on the take, large masses of publicly tax paid govt and education workers, will vote in such a way to maintain their positions and lifetime benefits even at the slow destruction of the communities around them.
Communist style corruption is why most folks leave Michigan. Where did all that gas tax $$ go Gretchen? Remember the lottery $$ going to the schools, yeah that went poof too. You can only milk the producers so long before they leave.

Governor Snyder did not make any money because of the crisis and all charges placed against him have been dismissed.

People always think the grass is greener on the other side. Both of my nephews left MI after college, one went to FL and one went to AZ. Years later they both moved back. Too many small regulations. For example. When I wanted to build a house, most places have 1000 sqr ft minimum, they don't want gardens in city and suburbs, they regulate if you are in rural land. It's disgusting. No freedom here. If I was younger, I would move to have freedom in another place.

It is quite frustrating that MI has declined like it has. I have struggled the 37 years I've lived here and i really don't want to move. But if drastic and positive changes to the government and economy doesn't happen soon, i might have to consider moving.
I love Michigan. Been here my whole life. The weather is the best (I love having 4 seasons). The topography is very diverse, from flat farm land to rolling hills, to miles of sandy beaches to trout streams, wetlands and small secluded inland lakes to the Great Lakes boating and fishing, deer hunting, duck hunting, ATV and snowmobile trails, etc.. And don’t forget the mountainous western Upper Peninsula where there are tons of lakes and waterfalls. I’m a civil engineer in the Detroit area so I’ve done very well here owning my own company. But we do not have enough skilled construction trades. It’s a great place to get a job if you are in the trades. It’s also a great place to retire. We decided to just stay here when we retire in a few years. We have a house in the suburbs and one in the western U. P. I love being able to go kayaking or bike riding at Stony Creek Lake just a 20 minute drive from our house in Macomb. Michigan has tons of great parks. From catching lake trout in Lake Superior to walleye on Lake Erie to the awesome museums in Detroit, Michigans got it all.
Love your attitude , sir! So many people here griping. Seriously, if they find it that bothersome to be here, then they should go find somewhere else they will enjoy.

you forget most Michiganders that retire don't leave Michigan. they down size for taxes and move out of the expensive areas . Some actually move to northern Michigan. for cheaper taxes and country quiet living. They all dont just up and move to Florida
Well they better not downsize now unless they live in a mansion. If they lived in their prior McMansion 2500-3500 SF foot home a long time, they are capped on property taxes even though home values have risen dramatically, Property tax uncapping upon moving with the big rise in home values the down sizing will have as high or even higher property taxes than they paid in their larger home. Unless law is changed to allow moving proposal A cap to a new or different home. Especially post covid with todays insane values. Be careful many are not aware that happens but oh boy it does.
This is a question I never thought that I'd be asked. I do know 2 couples who moved from Michigan to Vermont. These couples didn't know each other while in Michigan.
Don’t forget the 24 cities with city income taxes with an additional 1% tax for residents and 0.5% for those working in those cities. So state income tax is up to 5.25% for residents in those cities and 6.9% for those living in Detroit. That being said western and central Michigan are great areas to live in.

Not mentioned for some reason but extremely important is that the K-12 public schools can be very poor particularly in rural areas. So you may have to look into private schools for your children. Also, medical services are terrible unless you are near a city. Rural providers are even worse.
My son moved from Michigan to Burlington Vermont to accept position as a Marketing Director for a ski company. Skiing, biking, swimming, boating, fall colors… never coming back to Michigan!
Governor whitmer, the roads, high taxes, crime, high rent for crap housing, failed school system, local government are all reasons to stay the f##k out of Michigan. Born and raised north of Detroit and it's getting to the point where it's crushing people.
I grew up in Niles, Michigan. It was the ideal place to live in the 60s, when I was a kid. The state was well run back then, and Michigan roads were the best in the nation. The city of Niles was a small town of about 12,000 people in the southeast corner of Berrien County that was in the southwest corner of the Lower Peninsula. We had 5 major industrial employers located in Niles and the neighboring town of Buchanan. We also had other smaller towns ten minutes away in any direction. The closest larger city was South Bend, Indiana, just 13 miles to the south. There were plenty inland lakes close by in any direction. Lake Michigan beaches were just a thirty minute drive away. If you lived in Niles, you probably owner a boat. Not only that, but snowmobiles, skis, and sleads were common winter equipment in your garage. Downtown Niles was always active with shoppers. The city had great schools and a fantastic summer parks program for the kids. The only disadvantage Niles had for those not into winter sports was the lake affect snow coming off Lake Michigan. Six to eight inch snow storms are common in the Niles area. Now that all is gone, the manufacturing has left. The roads in Michigan are among the worse in the country. But the weather still remains in the area. Winter snow, temperatures affected by Lake Michigan leaving the average summer temperature a bit cooler and the average winter temperatures a bit warmer then the rest of the northern Midwest.
All taxes go into the general fund, that is why the governor could not pass a roads/bridges bill several times- the police, teachers and schools ,seniors all had there hands out for a portion of the funds tax proposed..it was beyond rediculous..so we said NO. Sad for roads and bridges..
@bluegillmich What are you talking about? MI has been amazing at getting roads and bridges fixed sine Whitmer took office. She and her team of women actually get things done here. You must be a maga.

I’ve been in Northwest Michigan for five years. Have lived in five states. Michigan is the most inhospitable state I have lived. Jobs are scarce and low paying even though I have a college education and 20+ years of experience. Lowest quality of living I have experienced.
What city do you live in? Outside of Traverse City, Northern Michigan doesn’t have the job market south east Michigan does. Total population is 10M and nearly 50% of those people live in Southeast Michigan so naturally the job market will be better.
Michigan is rapidly turning into a hard-core liberal state even up here in the north where I am that’s one reason people would want to leave. The second reason for me, would be how gray winter is with very little sunshine.
Michigan is super expensive. Don't let the lower housing price fool you. Some of the highest auto insurance in the world, gas is expensive because we import all of it from other states/countries. You have to heat your house 6 to 8 months out of the year. And 2 to 3 months is 24/7 heat because it's below 20 degrees Fahrenheit a lot of the winter. And when you don't have your heat on, the summers are like 85° + with a million percent humidity from the lakes, you need AC. The roads are terrible they tear up your suspension. Also they salt the roads so it eats away your undercarriage and your body. You have to risk your life every day in the winter time, and other drivers think they're invincible because they have four-wheel drive, or because you do so much winter driving. So even though you're being safe, other people might run into you, or you get stuck in a blizzard, or with ice there's absolutely no traction. If it wasn't for extended family while kids are small, I'd be out in Michigan in a heartbeat. The lake effect snow especially in West Michigan and in the Upper Peninsula, aint no joke.
Michigan is so cheap. You can actually get a nice house for 300k-400k. That's impossible in like 40 other states. And I love how several months of the year we don't have to use AC or heat. That's also pretty unique. We don't have to blast the AC non-stop for 6 months of the year like down south. And we don't get super cold thanks to the lakes - unlike the Dakotas and Minnesota and Montana, etc.
@@travissmith9488 a lot of people think of houses as a forced savings plan. For the same house in Michigan my kids might get 400,000. But, if i paid off a house in Florida, for example, they might get 800,000. If you were my kids, which would you rather have when i passed? 400,000 or 800,000?
@@nortonj3 I'd rather own the cheaper house and invest the money! You'd make way more in the end. Also, the Florida real estate market has been on the decline lately while Michigan keeps going up.
@@travissmith9488 real estate is the investment. It's real, it's physical, you can touch it, you can play outside on your property and improve it for fun. You cant do that with stocks. So they can buy other property somewhere else, or buy stocks or something else, its their decision. I just used Florida as an example of greener pastures.
@@nortonj3 Real estate also fell -55% in 2008 and 2009. Michigan real estate remained lower for 15 years after. It's also one of the few investments that taxes you every year no matter what and costs money to maintain. I would never put all my eggs into one basket like that but to each their own.
We have lost tens of thousands of manufacturing jobs over the last 50 or so years, both white-collar (e.g. engineering) and blue-collar (e.g. machining, assembly). Some of this can be traced back to automation and robotics, but that's not the whole story. A significant portion of the loss stems from a hostile regulatory environment on the part of government and the higher cost of labor in this undeniably pro-union state. Breadwinner-level jobs are easier to come by elsewhere, white-collar and blue-collar. As far as winters go, we do not really have winters comparable to those of previous decades. Our winters consist of grey skies, rain, and intermittent snows that melt within a week. Even the northern Lower Peninsula and the Upper Peninsula do not receive sufficient snowfall to guarantee snowmobilers and cross-country skiers a solid snow base on which to recreate throughout the whole winter season.
Spent my first 18 years there and the worst thing for me was the awfulness of having so little fun in the warm months due to the humidity and the biting bugs and pricker plants. All those nasty things made camping and hiking positively horrible!😢

Vermont is for liberal retirees and urbanites from the Boston and New York metropolitan areas who like to go Leaf peeping in the Autumn and ski on the low mountains with their icy slopes. Property is expensive and usually well-maintained which gives excuses for property taxes to be higher than is often found in rural areas. There isn't much industry or commercial activity, reportedly at not even as much as in New Hampshire, and there aren't very many jobs or jobs that pay well at all... although I'm sure that Vermont has its share of telecommuters. You forgot to mention the fact that Michigan has one of the highest car insurance rates in the US! They have pip added to every car insurance policy. Which adds around $50+ to every policy every month. Unless you can prove you have health insurance, your car insurance has to cover you and everyone that's involved in a car accident. 3:37 Michigan is considered the largest state east of the Mississippi counting the water, that is if you drew a state boundary halfway under the great lakes which seems fair. Land border wise Georgia is the considered the largest east of the Mississippi. With that being said Michigan is a southern state. Huge influx of people were recruited from the south to work the auto industry during the labor shortage in the 50's and 60's and they mostly never left. Property tax were insane when I left in 1996, highest rate in the country. Went to K-12 in Michigan as I feel it was very good compared to where I live now. Cost per pupil in state spending for public schools is awesome. Great selection of universities too. UofM medical is one of the best med centers in the country. Roads were an abhorrent abomination, salt ate cars, UP pretty much is Alaska lite.
The truth is that people rarely leave anywhere if there is a lot of economic prosperity. If you are living phat, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference where you do it, the question then becomes, why should I leave? The idea that some people in a given field leave because there are jobs elsewhere is true, but that should make ZERO difference on average. People accept jobs out of state in the industry they are trained for or experienced in because it pays better relative to the cost of living. Some will get shuffled around, but if everything else is the same the net effect is zero change. People leave their State almost exclusively (on a net basis) due to economics. Michigan is not well run, that's our problem and it's more of a Mayor problem than a State problem actually. Don't tell me it's weather, there are states with far worse weather, that are not even as close to as beautiful as Michigan, where they have added population. Go look at the list of states that added population and trust me, lots of them are not even close to being as "Nice" of a place to live. I've lived all over the country and talked to so many people, yes some will say they love their state because of XY or Z, but almost everyone who moves to a new state does so because of opportunity, for one, just leaving your family support structure behind is hard, you don't often see people leave that security based on weather that they grew up with.

But did the majority really vote for this gov? Hard to believe these narcissist types are actually selected by the people to represent them. Even if they are able to deceive people to get 1 term, the next term they would be out.

The sun doesn't shine on stocks.
I mean, if my kids want to sell any house in Michigan for 400,000. Or somewhere else for 800,000. Which one would everyone say, 800,000.
This is so true the job market here is horrible jobs want many years of experience with shitty pay like you need experience to get experience
I lived in California before. When I moved to michigan, it felt like going back 70 years in the past.
Spent my first 18 years there and the worst thing for me was the awfulness of having so little fun in the warm months due to the humidity and the biting bugs and pricker plants. All those nasty things made camping and hiking positively horrible!😢
Pricker plants? what are you doing in pricker plants? I love Michigan!
I grew up in SW Michigan. After college in the late 90's I got a good job in the north burbs of Chicago. Then settled down and bought a house. The ever increasing taxes, regulations, fees, cost of living is suffocating. Id love to move back to Michigan. Maybe one day.
I’m a Hoosier who spent a good amount of time in Michigan. It’s not the same or even close to what it was in the late 70s and 89s. When they legalized cannabis small town homelessness became a problem.
Democrats are slowly ruining the State, however Michigan voters are smart enough to swing the pendulum back to become more conservative. That’s one thing I love about MI.
That’s funny because what I love about Michigan is we went Blue.
@@sheneedsme California misses you.
It didn't go blue. But the counters down state made it go blue.
@@sheneedsmeyou love the fact our state is falling apart under democrat control?

we rather move to michigan for the winter not this humid heat in southwest indiana
I live in southern Indiana and it was 91 degrees felt like 98 today. In Michigan it was like 75 lol. I feel you! We want to move to Michigan in a few years for the weather!
No brainer, make the move!
@MackenzieB L o l who moves to michigan for the weather? Now u make me wonder why michigan is not growing faster than florida
@@highlymedicated2438 people who like cold weather and hate the heat! We’re a minority but we do exist. I live in southern Indiana and it is currently projected to be in the high 90s all week. I’m miserable. Living somewhere like Florida is what my nightmares are made of. I would move somewhere colder if it wasn’t so far from my family. Yesterday it felt like 98 degrees here and it was like 77 in Michigan.
@@MackenzieBThat's because you're wealthy and don't have to drive to a mall to get cardio. You can't exercise in freezing cold weather the cold restricts your arteries and you can have a heart attack. And the blowing cold air too. And dark all day. Very depressing, kills all my flowers, the birds are gone just depressing. Soon as DST ends it's time to go to Jacksonville till DST comes back in March. Yes I don't like 90° temps either AC is expensive but the winter here is too long. Only two weeks for Christmas season then warm back to 70° that's perfect
I’ve always lived in Michigan and for the first time leaving I went to Florida for a week..I always thought I’d love the weather but being there made me realize I wouldn’t want to deal with the heat all year round. I like our winters. It’s a change of atmosphere.
For sure! Grass always isn’t greener
Expensive housing, relatively high taxes, high costs, and a small job market seems to characterize the lovely state of Vermont. You might find people living there permanently who also have homes in North Carolina or Florida.
Nailed it!👍
As a Michigander, I can say that small town living is fine. The only real bad things are the people running the dang thing
No argument there!
I live in small town SW Michigan, lakes, rivers, Trees, love it. Truck with snowplow for winter, can go anywhere all seasons. Dont mind the whiners and complainers leaving.
You forgot to mention the thousands of acres that are now fenced in Solar Farms replacing open fields and farmland.
@@derekk6906 No, I mentioned whiners and complainers
Don;t come back either, take your winning and elsewhere
Enjoy those property taxes and no whining!😂

Grew up in Mi (Saginaw Bay Area), moved to Grand Rapids for college, then to LA, then Denver, and started my business in Hawaii. Because of my business, I can live anywhere and I chose to come back to Mi - first to the Detroit area to experience the rebirth of that city and now in Traverse City.
For me, it’s hard to beat the bang for the buck value. The people are awesome, great sports teams, and the summer can’t be beat anywhere (the lakes are amazing). Winters do suck sometimes, but that’s what Florida is for haha.
Saginaw too
What sports??? The Lions haven't won anything since the Eisenhower administration 1957!! Only college football is good here. It's freezing here from Nov -feb I want to live in Florida during that time

Follow this logic; no term limits for politicians, Mail in voting without ID and ballot request sent out without voter requesting absentee.
@jamieevancich That is not true. I live in MI and to get an absentee ballot had to show drivers license. You must be a maga. Move to a red state if you don't like it.
As a cradle Michigander, our state is beautiful! Our government? Granholm...then Whitmer... total control in 20 & 21..
I visited my nephew 3 wonderful times and absolutely loved it. Texas is beautiful and under sold. ❤ im staying in Michigan, my roots & family of course. Not for politics for sure. Weather use to be God given, not now. 😢
We left 11 years ago and moved to Texas. Best decision we made. Top reason why: Economy. Democrat State. Car Rusts In Two Years. Shovel Snow Before Going to Work.
👍
Cars rust in 2 years. Total BS. Our economy is booming and we can’t find enough employees. You can have that 110 degree heat. No thanks. Well time to get back on the boat for another beautiful summer day. As a bonus congrats to the defending National Champion Michigan Wolverines!
@@sheneedsme My daughters are in school here in Michigan. Great experience the economy isn’t bad and the homes are priced right!
Just know it being a democrat state is destroying it and will eventually be the nail in the coffin Trump 2024.
Me too! Texas reminds me of the way America used to be! Normal!
6 months of winter and 6 months of rain. I took 2 weeks vacation up north to salmon fish w/ my boat...could only get on Lake Michigan 3 times due to waves.
1.38% MI property taxes is fairly accurate. A $500k house is $7k per year.
Michigan is one of the cloudiest states in the nation. Even the summers are much cloudier and rainier than many other places.
False. Michigan has some of the sunniest weather in the entire country for 5-7 months - even sunnier summers than most of the south. Michigan is also sunnier year-round than many parts of the midwest and Pacific Northwest. Climate Compare is an excellent website that will show you this.
Michigan roads are horrible. It's absolutely insane. We live in Ohio, not to far from Michigan. Won't go there, the road will destroy your vehicle. Government is incompetent.
My mom was a Michigan farm girl. I love Michigan. Planning my escape from Illinois. I really thought about Michigan.
Come on over!
The state is beautiful. Wouldn't give up the 4 seasons. This woke environment and a governor hell bent on giving money away to those causes and not fixing the damn roads has me questioning why I stay.
Unfortunately, it appears all states are moving in the same direction. Even Florida
This is because of the health companies lobbying to get this added on to every policy! So they don't have to pay for uninsured drivers!
False. We are so close to Canada that we needed a hybrid insurance system with all the drivers back and forth. If you ever get in an accident, you will be very happy for Michigan's auto laws.
@@travissmith9488 not true? It's high because of all of the uninsured drivers in Michigan today! The Democrats control everything in Lansing and know this. My sister is a insurance salesperson. And keeps up with everything in Lansing. There's so many accidents in Michigan today that have uninsured drivers, this is why our insurance rates are so high! Detroit, Saginaw, Flint, Grand Rapids all have high rates of uninsured accidents today. What you wrote is pure made lies!!!
The economy sucks in Michigan.
I love in ann arbor and wall outside 5 miles a day, just get some decent walking boots. It's nice here!!

The Nature in SW Michigan is being surrounded with 8’ fences protecting the 1,000s of acres of Solar Farms. Such huge eyesores and terrible for deer and other wildlife
Which area so I know to avoid?
Wayne county’s population is growing…
I think it’s because of Flint and Pontiac. Those areas haven’t improved as much as Metro Detroit

I’ve lived here my entire life and will probably die here too.
Great Lakes, Two Peninsulas with different feels, 4 Seasons, Family is all here.
We don’t have to worry about droughts, hurricanes, small earthquakes, only a few hurricanes, beautiful land and water, last few years shorter but heavy snow season enough to get your winter sports fix. We have what many states don’t have.
I love the state and the people. I don't love the government of Michigan.
I think things would be a lot cheaper if we get these dems out of MI. Dingle, red lips Whitmere, Slotting and big mouth Hailey. I just think they put these people in even if they don't win in the election.
Alot of people don't realize how BEACHY our coasts are... And how huge the Great Lakes actually are until you are there...

Lol...I live in Indiana and I'm retiring in Michigan...I have several friends and relatives who have already done so, including two poor souls who suffered in DFW for the past thirty years...I hope this guy's message resonates and I have fewer people to share it with!🤗
3:37 Michigan is considered the largest state east of the Mississippi counting the water, that is if you drew a state boundary halfway under the great lakes which seems fair.
I have a rental property, and my property tax went up. The value didn't increase, and the taxes went up due to inflation. Michigan
Did the city have a millage increase?
I just retired and I built a home in Michigan. Came over from Indiana
