      It is absolutely delicious and refreshing. The noodles are chewy and the broth is sweet, sour, and spicy.

    I swear the more I look the more interested I get into Korean food. They all seem to either be a complete shift from what I'm used to or an interesting twist to something familiar and from the few I've been able to recreate at home with my limited ingredients and knowledge they were all amazing. I hope that some day I can go on a food tour around east asia with a couple friends cuz damn their food is fire 🤤

      they have bags of proper beef broth for cold noodle sold online, you can look it up on amazon. they even have kind of instant cold noodle soup, instant instant style (soak noodle in hot water then rinse and add the condense broth pouch and icy water), instant slow (same but with proper buckwheat noodles that require boiling)

    I'm curious I'm guessing this is frozen chunks of broth in the broth because it was just ice it would water down the taste of the broth. Would that be correct to assume?

    • @CumBrianFries

    I tasted it before , the cold broth is kinda sour and like vinegar and I don really like it , I taste in a BBQ korean shop own by a Korean ( their shop is very popular) in Malaysia , I was very excited to try it at first but after tasting the sour like vinegar broth I couldn’t handle it , makes me lose my appetite cuz it’s kinda smells like the Apple cider vinegar . At first imagine it would taste like the Japanese cold noodle with the sweet sauce on the side , but this is a completely new thing

    • @srs1659
      @srs1659 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I guess the broth was not authentic. The good broth is not too sour.

    The first time I tried cold noodles was when I was in Korea. After I came back to my country I go to Korean restaurant in my country to have cold noodles but the ones that sell cold noodles are rare and expensive. Japanese cold noodles here are a tad cheaper. So I rather go to Japanese places when I crave cold noodles 😁

    It's "naengmyeon", not "ice cold noodles". As Korean cuisine becomes more popular, people should know the proper name, not some arbitrary English name that makes no sense in Korea.
