Why race swap Lightning Lad? That was a solution for a problem that didn't exist! The legion with it's lafge numbers of alien members was probably one of the most diverse Superhero group in comics. They also already had 2 black members The new Invisible Kid and Tyroc the sound master.c Plus DC comics already had two male Black heroes with electric powers : Static Shock and Black lighting. There was no need to race flip him..
