If they are trying to wrap this up in three more episodes then yea conveniently the leadership will be at the outpost where Oakafor told Rick he will know when to draw his Sword so to speak. After all it was Oakafor’s plan to have Rick move up in rank to be in the position needed to change the CRM. Rick killing the leadership for the greater good mirrors Oakafor bombing the marines and his wife to save Philadelphia.🤷🏻♂️
Rick does give up he's been broken multiple times. The Governor broke him. Negan really broke him. Now he's been broken by the CRM. He said there's nothing between him and Michonne to get her to leave. To save his family.
I don't get why Rick was such a big catch, why Jadis didn't have to do consignment. What makes Rick so special, that they made a deal with her and they clearly can see Rick is a A, when he's not broken.
Rick wasn't a big catch. It sounded like Rick was the last person in a set Jadis needed ie "When you give us 30 people you can join our community and for each 5 we will send a box of resources" and Rick had Jadis hit her number. When Rick was brought back to health he was clearly an A and it was Okafor that kept him alive. Jadis has just made comments about bringing in a very important person in the past and we have assumed it was Rick and she made those comments to other people to show her superiority and explain how she moved up the chain of command so fast.
"People are resources". "A"'s like Rick are high value because of their initiative and leadership skills. CRM is playing a long (500 years) game and in their minds, leaders like Rick are essential to that plan. It's not just CRM, most people in TWD are traumatized and living in constant fear. The few individuals who manage to overcome and adapt with management skills are high value assets amongst any surviving community in that world because of the stability they appear to provide. That's why Negan, Virginia, even Victor were able to build thriving communities despite their..."shortcomings"..but people like them are few and far between in TWD and the few who are in that position can be overwhelmed and need help from others they deem on "same level" who they can trust/respect. That's why the lady who ran the caravan from last episode was so desperate to recruit Michonne.
I think Rick is the key to cure and you know why? Cause he was in a acoma when the virus hit. Rick isn’t infected cause he was in this dead state already. He’s the only surviving person who was lucky enough to be in a coma when the virus hit, which makes him immune and the walking dead is the story of how he survived to the present and ends up saving the Whole world, everybody under him are the survivors
Imagine if Rick ends up killing Thorne, ending his allegiance to the CRM and moving on to protect his family which is what really matters to him, mirroring how he killed his best friend Shane, and coming full circle.
I would love to see the old team come back to command the armies and run the civilizations in the CRM, France, and New York. It would be so epic to have large scale battles the length of whole episodes. Please AMC, you can do it! Restore my faith in Scott gimple!
episode is great and all but i can't help but wonder how this'll affect rick and the crm's suspicion of Rick with michonne pulling him out of the crm helicopter whilst others on it lives. How will rick explain himself and her and or will this be the start of their escape. They have so many great options moving forward from this episode which makes this episode even better and raises the anticipation for the coming episodes
The helicopter might crash, and the others onboard would die. That would give Rick and Michonne plausible deniability. ( The can pretend they miraculously survived the crash.)
good theory. there is a helicopter crash from the trailer (crashed in a building) and in the next episode teaser we do see rick and michonne both in a building.
Rick does have the best side eye’s ever! Good point on why Thorne would want to get rid of Michonne. I assumed Thorne love him by now, but I guess friendship can be as strong. I say this because it would’ve only made sense for Thorne and Rick to hook up after so much time away. I love me some drama! His attempted breakup killed me. I know it was to get her to be mad but she knew better. Totally think Rick could see the greater good and he is the key.
Fun fact - this isn’t the first time Andrew Lincoln has played a military role. In Chris Ryan’s initial 2010 season of Strike Back, Lincoln played Major Hugh Collinson, the commander of Section 20 of MI6.
The has been great so far, I’m nervous how they’ll wrap up the season. I imagine some culminating event taking out the brass at the summit. A showdown with Jadis, Throne and Beale. I need Rick to get back to his children 😩
I disagree that their relationship was based on convenience. There were options in Alexandria and Hill Top. They could’ve each found a different partner, if they wanted.
@@noturmum7967: TWD Season 1 Episode 5 "Wildfire." It's 25:21 in. It's after the "Vatos" episode when the group that stayed back at the camp was attacked by walkers.
@@joasbenjamin6804 Yesss, it would be chaotic. Rick see A as a way of power to help him lead or run civilization. The CRM see them as threats because they want a new world that is run by totalitarian government.
They called it an epic love story for a reason. Rick loves Michonne and would never put Thorne’s life ahead of hers, that’s why he got his gun out when he saw her grabbing that knife.

im hoping Michonne got one made before the mission
I think Rick will try to blow up the army/leaders meeting
If they are trying to wrap this up in three more episodes then yea conveniently the leadership will be at the outpost where Oakafor told Rick he will know when to draw his Sword so to speak.
After all it was Oakafor’s plan to have Rick move up in rank to be in the position needed to change the CRM. Rick killing the leadership for the greater good mirrors Oakafor bombing the marines and his wife to save Philadelphia.🤷🏻♂️
I hope not.. CRM is the light of the world.
I personally want Rick to kill Negan within like 90 seconds of the first time they see each other again for the first time.
Rick made a promise.
Rick does give up he's been broken multiple times. The Governor broke him. Negan really broke him. Now he's been broken by the CRM. He said there's nothing between him and Michonne to get her to leave. To save his family.
Rick Grimes in Gematria equates to 68... that is the significance of the number
I don't get why Rick was such a big catch, why Jadis didn't have to do consignment. What makes Rick so special, that they made a deal with her and they clearly can see Rick is a A, when he's not broken.
Because of Oakfor
CRM must be watch the szn like us idk
I agree. I'm thinking it's not about Rick at all. She gave them something else. TBD.
Did no one else noticed that the phones the dude had in his store were Glenn and Scott Gimple?
This show is amazing
I took the 68 as maybe Rick holding the record for most Walker kills in one day by hand which was 68
The whole thing with Aaron could also be tying in the fact that the actor for Aaron was originally casted to be Rick until Andrew Lincoln auditioned
11:14 in other words in a world, ruled by the dead we are finally forced to start living
They was right down the block from where I grew up in this EP in the beginning the park scene
Imagine if Rick ends up killing Thorne, ending his allegiance to the CRM and moving on to protect his family which is what really matters to him, mirroring how he killed his best friend Shane, and coming full circle.
good insight, def cliff hangers!
Twd owl complied v2, i was here
What is blud on about
Ricks only forced to stay there since Jadis has all the dirt on him, and him staying is protecting everyone in his eyes
I would love to see the old team come back to command the armies and run the civilizations in the CRM, France, and New York. It would be so epic to have large scale battles the length of whole episodes. Please AMC, you can do it! Restore my faith in Scott gimple!
Rick going out sad right now smh
episode is great and all but i can't help but wonder how this'll affect rick and the crm's suspicion of Rick with michonne pulling him out of the crm helicopter whilst others on it lives.
Either Michonne gets in trouble for it or they find out about their escape
Rick does have the best side eye’s ever! Good point on why Thorne would want to get rid of Michonne. I assumed Thorne love him by now, but I guess friendship can be as strong. I say this because it would’ve only made sense for Thorne and Rick to hook up after so much time away. I love me some drama! His attempted breakup killed me. I know it was to get her to be mad but she knew better. Totally think Rick could see the greater good and he is the key.
I'm just a dude disguised as another dude playing another dude
you forgot to mention the best moment, rick saying to jadis “you have shit haircut”
8:30 did bro really say “CRM military” 🤣 the CRM is the Civic republic’s military 🤣
Try not to lose too much sleep over it
@@johnnymcevoy1582😂😂😂
Is anyone else noticing ricks hair color changing in different scenes? 😂
Yea 😂😂
Great episode on so many levels the acting is superb the writing is great TWD IS BACK!
Fun fact - this isn’t the first time Andrew Lincoln has played a military role. In Chris Ryan’s initial 2010 season of Strike Back, Lincoln played Major Hugh Collinson, the commander of Section 20 of MI6.
Ahh didnt know that 😂
The has been great so far, I’m nervous how they’ll wrap up the season. I imagine some culminating event taking out the brass at the summit. A showdown with Jadis, Throne and Beale. I need Rick to get back to his children 😩
Michonne still hasn’t told him about RJ!!! You gotta figure that info must be unreal to him with what ever he does if she does… it’s massive…
I disagree that their relationship was based on convenience. There were options in Alexandria and Hill Top. They could’ve each found a different partner, if they wanted.
He did find Jesse, and she was sh*t. They found each other and they belong together.
@@BlondeAndBougie Richonne ❤️
The shane scene aiming the gun at rick was s2
No, it was Season 1. They were still in Atlanta
@@matthewthompson4618 ahh mayhaps I stand corrected. Which episode again?
@@noturmum7967: TWD Season 1 Episode 5 "Wildfire." It's 25:21 in. It's after the "Vatos" episode when the group that stayed back at the camp was attacked by walkers.
Love song jump scare, that's new
“Rich and Michonne would have never met because Georgia is racist!” Not because they lived in different city and Rick was already married. 🤮🤮🤮
Awesome title 👍
The full walking dead seasons episodes are not on AMC plus at all its on Netflix
with all the detail and research in these breakdowns, i would expect the name Okafor to be pronounced properly lol
I love Thorne's accent
why dont they just bring the Alexandria crew to the CRM?
Too many A’s
@@joasbenjamin6804 Yesss, it would be chaotic. Rick see A as a way of power to help him lead or run civilization. The CRM see them as threats because they want a new world that is run by totalitarian government.
@@joasbenjamin6804facts but one person out of all of them could get in…..Eugene would be perfect 😅😅 he can play that damn part good
I mean Pitt isn’t that far from nyc isn’t that where they’er filming dead city
I love that Rick pointed Jadis yee yee ass haircut
Huh?
They called it an epic love story for a reason. Rick loves Michonne and would never put Thorne’s life ahead of hers, that’s why he got his gun out when he saw her grabbing that knife.
Then she's all like "WE need a time out"😂
If Rick wants to stay at the crm it's do out of character, I hate it
Mercer - reference to Mercer in the Commonwealth?
