Somehow I wish it’s a prank by Microsoft with a rickroll at the media event.
Middle-click to open a new window of the application....things I never knew, but something I'll use daily.
They’re trying to make it more touch/tablet friendly. It’s windows 8 all over again. Desktop users are not gonna like it.
I dont even understand why they are doing that.
I bet 95% of windows users use a desktop or normal laptop.
This is just annoying.
@@flapdrol75 Its probably them positioning for more users transitioning to a touch interface. Don't worry i hate it to tho. At the very least we have until 2025 for other people to bitch about it and get it fixed
I don't know, this looks less like a tablet os and more like a lot of linux desktop environments.
@@austinbrown6923 Exactly my thoughts.
Lol I was wondering why this seemed familiar, I forgot Windows 8 even existed
5:30 Linus: "It's like a Mac!"
No Linus, even worse - it's like a CHROMEBOOK!
There are multiple desktop environments that have a centered "task bar" with gimmicks, and I like none of them.
@@Gramini simply switch it back to the left side, Windows is still as customizable as ever.
@@nahyan Not really, you can't make the new taskbar list individual windows (like you could on win 7,8 and 10), and you can't middle click to launch a new instance. But hopefully this will be fixed by release date.
@@zekicay its a veeeeeeeery early developer release that was not supposed to be out in the public even. We shouldn't judge the missing of features yet
I’m getting PTSD just from watching this
Damn, just found out that middle click opens a new instance of an application
Same. I've been using shift+click up until now.
And linus should now learn that shift click works too.
