I liked and commented for the algorithm. Thank you for teaching me basically everything I know about 3d design and fusion 360. I’ve only make a few simple models so far, but it’s been immensely satisfying to print something I created.

    Thank you!
I never thought surface tab can be so useful

surface modeling can unlock some powerful workflows... I'll have to do more tutorials on it after I wrap up the 30 Days series :)

Thank you! I just started using the free version of 3df Zephyr the other day... I managed to create and get a scan into Fusion and called that enough progress for the day... this definitely helps show me where to go next.

Great tutorial! How do you like the shining 3d scanner , i hear mixed reviews

The scanner itself (hardware) is phenomenal for the price. The software is the only negative I've experienced. In general, it works okay...but I've had issues with the software not capturing things (same light in same condition) and it's just buggy/not the most intuitive.

You forgot to model a carrot on the end of that pointer. Seriously, all the surface and mesh tools are new to me, is the F360 documentation a good place to start? Thanks for the video.

Hi there! This project was in partnership with the Makeable challenge. In short, schools around the country participate and print out their own custom assistive device unique to the individual they work with.

    Hey buddy
Would you strongly recommend that I get the SHINING 3D scanner or I can still get good quality 3D scans using the KIRI ENGINE App on my phone?
Is there a vast difference between the results of the two apparatus used (Kiri app vs Shining 3D Scanner)
    Thanks

Really depends on the objects you're scanning and what you're looking to do with the scans. Do you have specific projects in mind?
