Saw this video back in the day on VH1 when I was still in high school. Fell in love instantly. Wish they'd get back together and make more music...
I remember seeing this on VH1 in middle school and thought they were so unique!
They collaborated with Elton John for some of their tracks
I was in 8th grade when it was a big hit
I always forget how awesome scissor sisters are. Bloody brilliant music
they write some deeper stuff too! - did a great comfortably numb and return to oz is on the bob Dylan level!
@@kapple654 Their comfortably numb cover is so so good, completely different feel to the original in the best way
@@ghoultooth Yeah true its very Boogie Nights (Compared to the original Pink Floyd version)...
When I was little - I though the first line was "When you grow up living like a good boy otter", anyone else? :D I thought it was weird but ignored it LOL
Yep that's what it sounds like to me😂
Dude same hahah
I always thought it was olive
Back when MTV actually played music videos.
This is what it looks like when they first discovered editing
Freddie and Sir Elton shaped this music.
all I hear is Elton.(And it's not criticism to be closely compared to Elton John.)
still original in 2016
I wouldn't describe it as original exactly. it sounds like an Elton John record from the early 70's.
I love the randomness of their video, and how fun it is. Doesn't make it shit at all. Look at 80's music videos.. they were often quite crazy. It's fitting to their sound, and their energy.
FIFA 05 😪😪😪😪
2020: I love this song, but I am not taking my mama out.
🤣🤣me neither
When this album came out, I played the crap out of it!. Just a great song and it makes you yearn for the days when people wrote really good songs and the charts were full of talent.
Same. Used to play the CD over and over
The Bee Gees meets Elton John meets Dance Your Fucking Ass Off.
I imagine Elton John singing this song.
damn my fifa 2005 :( miss those days
I always forget how awesome scissor sisters are. Bloody brilliant music
This song was 20 years ahead of its time. Only just now discovered Scissor Sisters. Love this song.
It wasn't ahead of its time at all. In 2005 it had a nostalgic vibe FYI.
@@arthurballs9632 it's not about the vibe. It's about the full construction. The lyrics, the meaning, the music. All of it. If this was released today it'd be a top10
@@GrimDarkHistory none of that makes it "ahead of its time"
it sounded old 20 years ago dude ahhahahahaha
This was amazing, loved it 😂
Jimmy Fallon loves the Scissor Sisters!
gay men are so fabulous.
I can not NOT smile at this.
Is he actually gay?
Oh honey, yes.
Okay, thanks!
Gay mens have a special talent to music.
c willi we do our best
this song needs to have 2 more verses at least...
