Nice, love the sound. You said it should be a 289. Why's that? Is that what it decodes to? '68 was the last year for 289.
The 302 replaced the 289 in 68.There was no "Boss" 289 only a high performance version.
A 70 never had a 289 the 70 is one of the best looking the grabber blue beautiful

That small block is plenty of fun in a lightweight Mustang. Main thing I love about manual transmissions, you are the kick-down. I require this one too!

You sell some very cool cars. How come you don't fix the minor problems on your cars before you put them up for sale. So many have turn signal, wipers, horn, gauges etc not working. Thanks for the great videos and music played when producing your reviews. Look forward to many more. I'm holding out until you bring an old road runner or super bee up for sale.

Should be a 289? Ford stopped that CID production in 1967 and was replaced with a 302 in 1968.

That's a really nice car. I just wish that people wouldn't put BOSS 302 graphics on cars that are obviously not Boss 302's. There are no '70 Bosses that have that kind of of hood scoop. This car would be perfectly fine without the Boss insignia as the Sports Roof that it is in reality. Folks do the same thing when they take Mach 1's and try to pass them off as Bosses. Mach 1's are great cars. They don't need to pretend to be something else. That being said, this is a real nice car.

Nick are the doors loose and echo sounding when they are closed? Does all the body lines line up? Why is it idling so high? I'm buying this car and gonna have it delivered I'm going to be very upset this car is not as nice as it looks. I don't mind fixing a few things. People's opinions of a nice car are different. I know I'm buying a driver or is it a project with a dash cover over a junk dash and a slick paint job over poorly hung patch panels and an engine with a major vacuum leak around the intake? I wish you were more thorough on your video you never explained or described quality or thickness of paint test doors and their hinges hood and deck hinges weather stripping torque boxes rear frame rails bumper mount areas of the frame. Please respond this evening with a better video of car and how well it was put together or wore out it is. Thanks I don't mean to be pushy but 29k is a lot for a project if that is what it becomes or I spend my labor and a couple grand making it 100% is it a top loader trans if so what year and what year 302. I'm not gonna be able to come look in person I just want to be sure thanks and sorry for hassling you. I declined my offer after further researching this car. This is a 18k driver. Maple motors are notoriously known for quick paint jobs no repairs etc. They are preying on the unskilled auto enthusiast that doesn't know the right question to ask or what to look for. I just bought a no. Matching wrong color 70 Boss302 40k miles it is gold should he yellow 35k it's a driver but nicer than the one in ad.

I know this is a clone, but I think the Boss 302 either came with the shaker hood or a plain hood. I don't think the hood scoop was an option on the 302. Car looks pretty here on the computer. Course you would have to constantly answer the question about if it is a real 302, unless you removed the stripes.

It has a 289 in it, that’s what Nick says in the begging of the video. If is had a 428CJ, he would want significantly more money lol.

Learn your cars, dude. The 289 was discontinued by Ford in early 1968 sooooo NO…it should NOT be a 289 in a 1970 Mustang. A 302 2V was the base model V8 starting in mid 1968 all the way to 1973. 🙄
