2024 N owner here. It's not the fastest but instead of taking the test drive on the highway, take it to a back road and experience why it wont be underwhelming then. Not to mention, tune it up and it wakes it up.

Also you gotta change the rear sway bar. I got the Ultra Racing front strut tower brace and rear subframe brace with the Stillen rear sway bar! Car handles ten times better and gets rid of the understeer from the factory set up, plus the steering has much better feel and feedback.

you need to have a proper drive when the car is fully broke in (1000kms to me because i’m aussie, not too sure how many miles it’ll be). once it’s broken in the car is insane, the pops, cracks and bangs are incredible even with the car being FULL STOCK. trust me the n is incredible when it’s fully fully new but when it’s broken in it’s utterly incredible.
With one of the worst warranty denial rates in the industry. Imagine staff from a Hyundai dealer talking launch control, high revving, and using NGS on a N before break in on a brand new car. And god knows what else off camera from the rest of the dealer staff. Thank you for advertising where not to by from.

Wasn't planning to spend more then what the N line cost, but if the N is that much more fun to drive then Ill be very tempted to pull the trigger on it.

No it was not shifting until redline because he hit the NGS button. People forget that the NGS button isn’t just a 10hp bump. The name is N Grin SHIFT. It essentially allows the DCT to perform “no lift shifting” and won’t shift until it hits redline
I have a Kona N, you have to remember there are faster cars. I bought the Kona n because I wanted to be different and wanted a track car that I don’t have to touch. The brake system is very similar to bmw, bro the N’s thanks to Bierman have a bmw feel but just Hyundai version. No it won’t beat a scat in a drag race, but around a circuit track yeah it will dust a scat

Also funny when I see N and nline comparisons from people who own these cars, because it gives me “boy racer” vibes. Like N and nline look like a bunch of angry boy racers with that aggressive styling they introduced in the 24my, as well as the pre facelift 20-23 model years. Even the regular base Elantra/i30 sedan don’t miss out on the sporty looks, but they have toned down the “boy racer” vibes
'25 shouldn't really be any different from the '24 facelift unless they add any features with bluelink, it probably already has the hpfp recall fix that '22-23 are currently experiencing as '24+ are not on the list
The 2024 2025 are the new face lifted version and the reason they fix the look it was supposedly for cooling plus not gonna lie hyundai been going hard and doing things right. If you want to compare the N line and the Elantra N well the N has a turbo and sport seats and sport features and parts plus it still has the Bose Premium speakers
