People saying Joseph is a hypocrite are missing the point. Joseph bluffs, schemes, and tricks people, but he never cheats. He used his overwhelming size and strength and the fact the cops don't know about Hamon to save Smokey. He uses the environment and mind games against the racist while he, Smokey, and Granny Erina are all eating. He uses the environment and reading his opponent to beat Caesar. He uses his street smarts and newfound knowledge of Hamon to beat the fights against ACDC. He uses almost everything I've listed as well as Wham's own tricks against him in the coliseum fight. Where does Joseph stab his opponent in the back or hell, even really lie? Yeah, there's trickery, but if he says something is gonna happen, it will. That's even mirrored in his "Tsugi ni omae wa", which always come true. He's never said "oh yeah, do this and you may live" and then decides "Nah, change my mind." The closest thing to that is when he tries to bluff ACDC out of Suzie Q. TL;DR: people who call young Joseph a hypocrite don't pay attention to the character
It was scientifically impossible for Kars to drift out into space. In the anime, he tried to use air to push him forward, which failed and froze him but would've worked nonetheless. Due to Newton's first law, That attempt would've left him drifting towards Earth because of a lack of friction in outer space. Slow as it would be, he would've made it back. Also, the Earth's gravitational pull is much too strong for him to just float off into the distance. Rather than that, he would've simply revolved around the earth, such as a satellite.
The air worked for a few moments before freezing over. So it probably altered his momentum from way to much to a little bit less too much and he still got rekt.
@@heiljandal1329 Joseph and Lisa Lisa warned him that it wasn't safe. That they should wait which lead him to go on his own and lose his life in the process... Tragic but also pretty reckless, Joseph has a better intuition.
Joseph : "Nigerundayo !!!" Wammu : "Lord Kars please don't look at it...." -Trickery Kars Appears Kars : "Too late, I've seen everything" - So Kars learned that from Joseph Bad Influence
I just now realized that Joseph is an ass for calling Cars out for tricks. Jesus, my eyes have opened. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a president to Spin and a Corpse to look for.
bait4sale9001 But Joseph uses tricks to fight and give him the advantage, Kars however uses tricks to win, Kars use tricks that do not stick to the rules like when he had vampires fight Lisa Lisa when he promised a one v one while Joseph will use tricks, his tricks keep to the rules and only uses to to help him get the advantage.
Grimrai Play Hey, before the race even starts, let me put dirt at Wamuu's wheels so he'll be stuck, then let me kick that dirt into his face, just for shits! Plus, had Caesar lived, Joseph would've most definitely had him help from the sidelines, like sending a bubble out to loosen a chariot wheel, or to distract/ injure Wamuu or Cars
bait4sale9001 Again, there was nothing in the rules to say he could not do that and you think pretty lowly of Caesar, we all know that Caesar would never do that because of his honour.
@EccentricSageNot a bad way of viewing him. Makes his name pretty appropriate as aside from standard rock references, cars are one of the foremost and life changing developments of modern humans. ACDC might be a more appropriate name for him given it refers right back to electricity itself though. Hmm, Wammu kind of breaks that trend with a name that has nothing to do with human development though. Should have called him Metallica or something.
It doesn't make Joseph a hypocrite for calling out Kars's cheating and dishonoring the duel that he agreed to. Although, it was fantastic that he did cheat. Kars broke the God Complex that Joseph had over them this whole time. The God Complex was at it's weakest in Kars while being at its strongest with Wamu, leaving Eisidisi swinging either way.
Ok I have to disagree with you when Kars obtained perfection his first act was brutally killing a squirrel so he no longer cared for any other life form, and Joseph isn't a hypocrite because Kars didn't use trickery that was flat out cheating & that was after wamuu's death a close friend of Kars who strived on being honorable and who Joseph showed mercy and respect towards (also wamuu killed a group of vampires who tried to kill Joseph right after the match which was the same thing Kars did) so doing that after his death was lowdown and dishonorable
I don't think Joseph is a hypocrite. Joseph would never resort to using someone else as a decoy. While tricks are permitted, using someone else violates their agreement of one on one. They never laid out any other ground rules except one on one match. Anything goes except relying on someone else. It would be like Joseph tag teaming Lisa-Lisa in and having her kill Wamuu while he's distracted.

Bravo! A lot of times I have left annoyed by everyone hatred of Kars for attacking Lisa LIsa from behind.... when is not much different that what joseph did all the time, I really happy you pointed it out.
Joseph ain’t a hypocrite he outsmarts his opponents with tricks during the battle say what you want about wamuu vs Jospeh but it was entirely fair and Joseph ended up outsmarted wamuu Kars sent a vampire in his place and then destroyed Lisa Lisa before a fight even begins At least that’s what I think lul
I, Quetzalcoatl, shall defend Kars. Here are 7 reasons that Kars is justified in his actions: 1. Kars is a guardian of Nature. He protects flora and fauna which he knows are meant to be in an area, killing off invasive species (cough cough you guys cough cough) 2. 8 billion is a bit of a stretch for ANY species, so the pillar species is the one natural predator to man. Overpopulation is real, and can seriously trip a species up. 3. Araki uses the killing of dogs in the series itself to show that a character is corrupt or not in their right mind. Not only did Kars spare a dog, he saved one. 4. Kars "cheating" was in response to Joseph doing the same. 5. As I stated earlier, humans are overpopulated and do not have any natural predators. Kars did not respect you humans for that simple reason. Would you respect a mosquito if there were billions of them worldwide and they were reproducing quicker than you are? 6. Humans instantly attempt to kill anything that seems mildly powerful and hasn't been seen in a while. I can't count how many nukes I have taken for being a "monster". 7. Then we have the infamous moment when he turns his hand into a squirrel. Who did he kill via the squirrel? A bunch of nazis. You see where this is going? Leave a like if you agree with what I am telling you.
I agree, but one big problem. Joseph wasn't a hypocrite. He used deception and trickery, but never broke a rule. For people that are bringing up the wamuu fight, he gave a chance to clear the rocks from underneath, and wamuu denied. He never broke rules, he used loopholes and deception. Kars on the other hand, broke the rules. He said it would be a fair 1 on 1 fight, but he lied and used a double to kill lisa lisa. Kars is a cheat, Joseph is a trickster.
The tribe merely feared the ambition and power of kars, they were primitive while kars was far from that. He merely needed to get things in much more ethical methods which he would've done in time.
Kars did genuinely want to help his people. He's curious, like Humans are and at first I doubt he wanted to become a super being, just find a way to walk in the sun. The problem was that his creation was harming the environment, but Kars didn't see any wrong with this "at first". If you take a closer look, Kars's hatred for machines, saving a dog's life and taking many complicated steps to not land on a flower shows that he actually may have felt some guilt over his mission and the fact that it was his harm to the environment that lead to his race trying to kill him and him needing to slaughter them.
DUDEEEE I WISH I WASN'T LATE BUT I'd like to think that since Kars became the Ultimate Lifeform, he lost all instincts of survival, hence he was caught SO OFF GUARD in the fight. MY GUY JUST WANTED TO SLAP JOSEPH NO MATTER THE COSTS. Smh. If only he cared about himself a bit 😢
I think Battle Tendency is so good, because, unlike further parts, it has no fillers and very few protagonosts and antagonists and thus they are mostly given a solid screen time to open and develop. I reaaly think Araki made a mistake, when he went to "villain of the week" scheme. And larger amount of heroes in later parts also cost in there development. And yeah, i agree, kars is a villain, but he is really a tragic character. I really felt sorry for him, when i realised, that he witnessed death of his nation and, during the manga events, death if his closest friends and comrada. The only thing i really wish to happen is a solid dialogue between him and dio, but it is just a fanservices.
I’d unironically love a light novel about Kara landing on an alien planet, kind of like how Kira became a spirit detective after he died. Let Kars be the ultimate life form he always wanted to be, but shift his focus slightly. Maybe he takes up the role as a guardian for a primitive alien race, or asserts himself as a god and forces aliens to fight him in order to test his limits. Idk, something quirky like that.
So Infinite Sun Hamon? I guess Part 2 was the best way to send off Hamon and get to stands. Just like the Infinite Spin? Its send off was being used on Funny Valentine a VERY powerful enemy.
Do you think that if his people did not turn on him there would have been a race of "modern day" (circa 1940s-50s Battle tendency arc) pillar men that were good? aka Kars, ACDC, etc?
I liked part 2 way more than all the other parts for many reasons, and one of them is the villains. They didn’t just “appear,” they had good backstories. Also I liked Hamon battles more than stand battles because he had to actually be smart with hamon and not get random powers to be plot armor all the time. Also Joseph is just the coolest character
The thing Kars should have understand is that there is no perfection, and even if they were one, he will still fear, fear to lose his power, fear to die anyway... Kars wasn't someone really bad, he had legit objectiv, but if he wanted that much becoming the perfect living being, he could have stop fighting, and just live a normal life by using the Ajax Stone. Anyway, i think was always thinking he was right and didn't put enough interest of people (He could have explain to human why they are wrong instead of cutting their limbs to make them understand. (Furthermost he is immortal so he had no reason to not do it)) He just became selfish, so i think he deserved his end.
"Kars is the last surviving member of the race he tried to save..." Except Santana... but nobody cares about Santana.

It's kinda like trying to decide if you want to give someone a weapin they will probably kill lots of people with in the hope that they are peaceful with it or trying to limit overall casualties by keeping it away from them. Like here's that atomic bomb you have been trying to get from us for a few months now don't detonate it in a major city....
Master Markus It’s worth noting that Kars’ masks cause him to be ever more aggressive. The other Pillar Men attacked him because he endangered the balance they’d achieved with the world; he’d developed an appetite that would reveal the Pillar Men and, presumably, “overfish” everything on the surface. It is in no way a far stretch to presume that his perfect form would result in him eventually consuming all life on Earth to fulfill his insatiable appetite.
Likely the most influential character in jojo, without him: no stone mask= no DIO= no part 3, over half of part one is gone, no giorno, etc
Well, without Karz, we would get to see the fabulous yet ordinary adventure of the Joestar bloodline, ancient family of Victorian noblesse, on their road to slowly, but surely become one of the greatest philanthropist fortune on earth.

"but he never cheats" well, except for that ONE time...
Never cheats? Then why do we have part 4?
@@MALICEM12 That felt out of character tbh. Like it was needed for a part 4
@@yandrak4621 I agree

It was scientifically impossible for Kars to drift out into space. In the anime, he tried to use air to push him forward, which failed and froze him but would've worked nonetheless. Due to Newton's first law, That attempt would've left him drifting towards Earth because of a lack of friction in outer space. Slow as it would be, he would've made it back. Also, the Earth's gravitational pull is much too strong for him to just float off into the distance. Rather than that, he would've simply revolved around the earth, such as a satellite.
He reached escape velocity though.
Pfft next you’ll tell me gay fabulous vampires and invisible spirits that fight people ARE ALSO SCIENTIFICALLY IMPOSSIBLE
The air worked for a few moments before freezing over. So it probably altered his momentum from way to much to a little bit less too much and he still got rekt.

Man, you've made a bunch of character analyses lately
*please make more*
See, this is why I like Kars! Worst Jojo villain my ass
Has anyone actually said that? And even then, if he was “the worst” that’s saying little because almost all the villains are extremely great
_"He is the only remaining member of the race he tried to save"_
*Distant Santana noises intensify*
“Beauty of Kars?” I mean I ain’t gay but Ultimate Kars is actually sexy as hell.
I just now realized that Joseph is an ass for calling Cars out for tricks. Jesus, my eyes have opened. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a president to Spin and a Corpse to look for.
bait4sale9001 let's add that to the many other reasons why Joseph is second-worst jojo.
bait4sale9001 But Joseph uses tricks to fight and give him the advantage, Kars however uses tricks to win, Kars use tricks that do not stick to the rules like when he had vampires fight Lisa Lisa when he promised a one v one while Joseph will use tricks, his tricks keep to the rules and only uses to to help him get the advantage.
Grimrai Play Hey, before the race even starts, let me put dirt at Wamuu's wheels so he'll be stuck, then let me kick that dirt into his face, just for shits!
Plus, had Caesar lived, Joseph would've most definitely had him help from the sidelines, like sending a bubble out to loosen a chariot wheel, or to distract/ injure Wamuu or Cars
bait4sale9001 Young Joseph deserved a bitchslap
bait4sale9001 Again, there was nothing in the rules to say he could not do that and you think pretty lowly of Caesar, we all know that Caesar would never do that because of his honour.
Who would win?
a) A literal god
or
b) 1 volcano boi
gotta Hand it to the Volcano Boi
God, God can't die...
And one smarty boi
You for got the za hando boi
Technically Kars won against the volcano. It was the extra debris being thrown at him by Joeseph and the cold vacuum of space that did him in.
Kars tried to evolve beyond all life on Earth, and in so doing, he was rejected by the very Earth itself and shot into space.
Kars became above all life. Then was sent above all life
If you look at him and don’t think he’s beautiful you have a problem
It doesn't make Joseph a hypocrite for calling out Kars's cheating and dishonoring the duel that he agreed to. Although, it was fantastic that he did cheat. Kars broke the God Complex that Joseph had over them this whole time. The God Complex was at it's weakest in Kars while being at its strongest with Wamu, leaving Eisidisi swinging either way.
Joseph was in kars accidents
oHmyGod that's an illegal pun
@@vladaling3527 And an unoriginal one
Ok I have to disagree with you when Kars obtained perfection his first act was brutally killing a squirrel so he no longer cared for any other life form, and Joseph isn't a hypocrite because Kars didn't use trickery that was flat out cheating & that was after wamuu's death a close friend of Kars who strived on being honorable and who Joseph showed mercy and respect towards (also wamuu killed a group of vampires who tried to kill Joseph right after the match which was the same thing Kars did) so doing that after his death was lowdown and dishonorable
christopher auzenne he created the squirrel
@@ajohnson82454 yeah remember he made a squirrel from his hand which then attacked another squirrel and then the people with jojo

Breaking news: Earth has a temporary mini-moon about the size of a car
I, Quetzalcoatl, shall defend Kars. Here are 7 reasons that Kars is justified in his actions:
1. Kars is a guardian of Nature. He protects flora and fauna which he knows are meant to be in an area, killing off invasive species (cough cough you guys cough cough)
2. 8 billion is a bit of a stretch for ANY species, so the pillar species is the one natural predator to man.
Leave a like if you agree with what I am telling you.
one year late but I agree
I agree, but one big problem. Joseph wasn't a hypocrite. He used deception and trickery, but never broke a rule. For people that are bringing up the wamuu fight, he gave a chance to clear the rocks from underneath, and wamuu denied. He never broke rules, he used loopholes and deception.
Kars on the other hand, broke the rules. He said it would be a fair 1 on 1 fight, but he lied and used a double to kill lisa lisa. Kars is a cheat, Joseph is a trickster.
If he can use esidisi's blood boiling, he'd easily be able to escape the icy drift of space and return to earth

Unpopular opinion: Kars deserves far more respect from community, and I wish more videos like this were made about him.
I can’t hate someone who saves the life of a dog and make sure to not step on flowers.
Love my Lord
Kar's defeat theme is Fly Me To The Moon and no one can change my mind

Honestly, he's the one JoFoe I genuinely have sympathy for, mad scientist though he is...

What I love most about Kars
is how he doesn't let stupid things get in the way of his goal and truly just wants the results
(Furthermost he is immortal so he had no reason to not do it))
He just became selfish, so i think he deserved his end.
The squirrel hand scene had me laughing so hard the first time I saw it.
and as always..
