I like the idea that the reason the emperor has an E in precision is because Hol is constantly correcting the bullets' path. I'd like to believe the reason he shot himself during the Boingo arc was because he had fired so many bullets he couldn't keep track of them mentally, mixed with him pretty much completely forgetting about them in his haste, making it so he couldn't even tell they were heading at him until it was too late.

Omg, I just realized something. Hol horse could have been an awesome addition to the stone ocean gang in part 6. Think about it. Who could have been part of Jolyne's group than a real outlaw? There could have been a great contrast contrast between modern crime and the ways of a lone gunman.

He was known across the world under different names, personalities and faces through his use of mask of many faces. He's very secretive of his real life, and has even admitted that the name he uses with the party; Rolend, is a fake.
Also, Complete Colt lived with just some scars on his head at the end of part 3. He didn't die nor did he live as a terrifying mutated disease so somewhere out there, he's just seducing women and shooting shit with a partner.

So if Avdol tried and managed to burn the bullet trying to kill Polnareff, HH would find a part of his own body burning! This also means that he wouldn't be able to just shoot with his infinite ammo willy-nilly and would have to consider when to take that risk.

I've always liked how Araki based a lot of his characters in his manga with band and musicians. Musicians, song and album names. Along with so many cinema references. I racked my brain to figure out what Hol Horse's name was a reference to, but now it makes perfect sense it was Hall & Oats.

Araki when he was making stats for the enemies in Part 3 kind of just made Precision and Potential dump stats to make stands seem more balanced.

Excellent Analysis here, I think another significant part of the Hol Horse Boingo team up though is that Hol Horse has this ideology of always being number 2 in a pair while Boingo is the kind of person who naturally ends up being the less pronounced of a duo due to his reservedness. I think it's significant story wise that these two pair up because it's the less outward members of two duos we've already seen teaming up and it makes it super apparent that both of them have the issue of relying on someone else and can't find that in each other since Hol Horse needs someone who can fight with him like J Geil did and Boingo needs someone more outward like his brother.
Honestly, I find Hol Horse to be my favorite character on Part 3. He's simple, he wants money, but he is very charismatic and his philosophy in life, while something I disagree, is respectable. Also, if I had to choose one Stand to have on real life, between many broken stands like D4C, Made in Heaven, Crazy Diamond or Heaven's Door, I would choose The Emperor. I'm just a sucker for revolvers, what can I say.
Meti I'll love you forever for addressing the emperor precision thing. I also like to think of Cream in a similar way, where its physical body is what has the destruction power of B, and the abuse of its ability is what makes it an unstoppable force of destruction.
I know futher more that I'm late, but hol horse died when he stopped living by his own way, boingo wasn't someone he could hide behind and use to be number 2, instead he took boingo's book and no longer lived by his tarot card, he no longer was setting his own fate living by his own rules or setting his own boundaries, he got so damn desperate it basically killed him and thats kinda what some emperors/kings fall for. Getting to desperate in a war leading to making mistakes and losing before losing their head by the people they were ruling, in this case again it was boingo as the people.
If y’all love The Whole Horse, I highly recommend keeping an eye on Ricepirates “JoJo Bizzare Adventure: Blood Sun Vendetta” a spin off fan web comic set at the same time as Diamond is Unbreakable, but set in Mexico with the bastard son of Hol Horse as the protagonist. It’s not complete, but it has concept example and it looks fucking fantastic

Well, actually, he was, just in an extremely well written way. His entire life, he never feared consequences, so he did whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. He follows Dio because Dio was the first one to ever truly strike fear into his heart. As he says himself, "evil needs an evil saviour." He admits he is truly evil in that one sentence. Most of the other assassins were either seduced or paid to do Dio's bidding.
Since The Emperor is the 4th Tarot card, that must be why Mista truly hates the number 4, he hates the other Stand User with a gun stand

If y’all love The Whole Horse, I highly recommend keeping an eye on Ricepirates “JoJo Bizzare Adventure: Blood Sun Vendetta” a spin off fan web comic set at the same time as Diamond is Unbreakable, but set in Mexico with the bastard son of Hol Horse as the protagonist. It’s not complete, but it has concept example and it looks fucking fantastic

.. wait i thought that hol horse Gun didn't have that big of a recoil, the wiki lied to me. Also i like the implication hol horse could just fan the hammer on his gun but with the draw back of not being able to accurstely redirect/corse correct all the bullets. The only time when he does fan the hammer is when he fires down a tube. So in other words the emperor just has that shitty of a weapon spread

Well, actually, he was, just in an extremely well written way. His entire life, he never feared consequences, so he did whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. He follows Dio because Dio was the first one to ever truly strike fear into his heart. As he says himself, "evil needs an evil saviour." He admits he is truly evil in that one sentence. Most of the other assassins were either seduced or paid to do Dio's bidding.
