LeBron has hated NBA newsbreaker Woj for years but people forget the reason why. Recently LeBron got revenge by shutting Woj out of a major story. It caused friction at ESPN but the real story goes back over 10 years.

WOJ is an insider, not a reporter. He's a mouthpiece for the Teams that tell him what to say. He doesn't talk to players or agents
Adrien Wojnarowski made a huge error when he reported there were no James Harden-Ben Simmons negotiations. It is mystifying because Daryl Morey has clearly been trying to trade Simmons for Harden for the past two years.
Morey tried it when James was in Houston and he lost that round to Brooklyn. But did Daryl even consider trading Simmons for ANY other player in the LEAGUE? Hell no!
The reason it took so long to trade Ben is BECAUSE the only trade target was Harden, who Daryl has called his favorite player and who he has compared to Michael Jordan! Woj seriously needs to get his sh!t together if he cannot accept that Windhorst is a Klutch insider.
Because before anything else, Windy was a LeBron insider. 💁🏻♂️🏀

To be fair Lebron has a bad rep amongst teammates who are not superstars. He barely talks to them (Mo Wagner documentary) and publicly wants them traded like in his first year on the Lakers. And he also demanded to sign Tristan Thompson for way too much money back then after they won with the Cavaliers and he only did it because TT was on Klutch.
Fr, he wasn't called LeGM for nothing. Woj wasn't far off, Lebron and Clutch would force player movements within the team according to his liking.

It's more mystifying Woj's mistake even without all this other context when you realize Morey was on the reverse side of this trade in Houston as one trading James Harden for Ben Simmons (and assets). Then he comes to the Sixers and ends up trading Ben Simmons (and assets) for James Harden. Pretty clear negotiation ATTEMPTS were made before the trade happened, so to say there weren't even trade talks was ludicrous.
