But prior to 2021 Ronaldo is still fine, it was in the last few months of 2021 that he started doing questionable things that lead to this hate. He commented "factos" on an instagram posts that says he should've won Balon d'or and undermines Messi's, comments ''two jealous'' on another posts that features Rooney, he also threw the captain armband on two separate occasions with Portugal. He kicked Curtis Jones in the stomach out of frustration, and oh did i mention how he left to the tunnel, not celebrating with his team even though they were winning (because he was benched lol). So yeah, add all of those on top of a toxic fanbase and thats why people really don't like Cr7, his ego is too big and hes cocky at times, even going on an interview to trash talk his own team. To be fair Lebron does have a lot of fans, I personally think it’s the constant media coverage, the unprecedented move to Miami, given we never saw 3 prime players in the 26-28 age range on one time that were all top 15 players at that respective time, it seemed like he stacked the deck really in his favor. Seeing him lose kinda humbled him but in a lot of people’s eyes took him out of the Kobe, Jordan, aura of greatness considered he really shit the bed when he was the overwhelming favorite. Lastly the 3-1 comeback is legendary in and of itself, despite this, it’s truly Lebron’s crowning achievement but when looking objectively how does winning 3 rings make you the goat in 2016? Comments like that anger the older and some younger fan bases like myself that actually have respect for the history of the game etc.
    We can all say Bron can have that confidence and we all Know Jordan believes he’s the best deep down, the difference is how Bron comes off like it’s so matter of fact, that he’s the best etc etc. Jordan has never come out even doing anything remotely close. But Jordan is hyper aware of the legend he created for himself.

    The GOAT discussion for the majority of people, especially outside the US, ended when Dirk's Mavs beat LeBron's star-studded team. No matter what LeBron does will not put him over MJ. MJ is the prime example of what excellence is.
    Anyone who wants to be a great basketball player should do it the MJ way. Work harder than anyone both in the gym and on the court. Do not short-change your fans and your team, and give 100% on the floor on both offense and defense.
    Be an example to your teammates to move them to be the best version of themselves... Kobe learned that from MJ, and we can see Kobe being that to the Redeem Team in the docu that barely featured by media... Kobe changed how the team was, by being an example.
    MJ was hard on his teammates, but he was harder on himself, and that was his drive to win.
    You can not speak like this of LeBron... you can't cite him as an example since often he slouched on defense and many times he just gave up on the team and on the game.
    Btw, if a 3peat is easy... LeBron even when backed by future HoFs... has never ever did it. And MJ did it twice. The GOAT must be bigger than the sport like Ali to boxing... and no matter what LeBron does ... he won't be bigger than the sport. For basketball... there's only one name that's fits the bill... and that's MJ.

    You're on point - he tries too hard. When you feel the need of reminding everyone about your greatness all the time, it usually means you're not so great after all. Look at Jordan, he doesn't have to say a word. Being the GOAT is not only about stats and awards, but also the legend you create. To me, LBJ had just too many misses along the way - collapse in the Finals vs Dallas, assemblnig a super team in the offseason insted of staying in Cleveland, stepping out of his role and acting as de facto GM (and refusing to take accountability for it) and being a poser when it comes to his alleged values. Now he's even trying to get his kid to the NBA by saying that he will go to the team that drafts Bronny. Jordan was awesome, beacause he didn't compare himself to anyone, he was just focused on being the best player he could be and winning,. Can you imagine Jordan or Bird pretending to be an avid reader to look smart or going to a game with a freakin' wine cooler? Pathetic. LeBron is a great player, easily TOP 3 all time, but sorry - not a GOAT.

      Mo actually hd a decent reg season wit the cavs and got his sole all-star selection as a backup selection after other allstars got hurt. But once the playoffs began he was terrible. You see that video of him thanking god after lebron hit the game winner? His production completely disappeared in the playoffs.
      Larry hughes known as a low percentage chucker on the offensive end. You’d know this if you weren’t just relying on digging up stats.
      Antawn Jamison wasn’t quite as bad as mo, but he was another one of those guys who was at the very tail end of their prime by the time he got to the cavs. He was 33 years old. Back then, players retire even earlier than they do now, by 34 most decent players are out of the league. He was still decent but he was an undersized pf that relied on midrange shooting, these were called “tweeners” back then and weren’t effective. Theres a reason the Cavs liked JJ Hickson more, he was more effective roll guy, defender and rebounder.
      You can try to list these role-players, or past their prime players, but the fact remains that the Cavs got two 60+ win seasons back-to-back, then immediately fell to league worst after Lebron left. That’ll tell you enough.

LeBron is great at basketball, yes, But off the court, he played the game like a low quality hypergamous hoe of a woman from the streets by jumping from lap to lap; depending on who had more assets. I don't respect that. Despite doing that and basically being the NBA's first ever THOT, he got destroyed by the West to the tune of 6 Finals losses.

      MJ played the game on and off the court like a Warrior. A man. LeBron played like a SUGARBABY. LeBron has literally won NOTHING without being carried by two other PRIME Top 10 All-Stars....teammates who have to sacrifice for him and take the blame for them losing. Total low quality woman behavior right there.
      LeBron's true legacy is turning NBA Superstars into p( ! )ssy bitches and sugarbabies- KD, Harden, Simmons, even Dwight. Leaving your team, your squad, your soldiers, your men, your city, for deeper pockets is the most low quality woman thing a man could do. How can you respect that?
      When you see Dirk's statue, you UNDERSTAND. It's perfect. It's a tribute to a true Warrior and Champion.
      Which city will LeBron get a statue at? He's betrayed all of them. Not to mention, LeBron's rings are cheap and all 4 are less valuable than Dirk's 1...or Giannis' 1.

MJ, Kobe, Tim Duncan, all these players had a killer mentality that other players respected and in the case of Jordan, feared. Look at any player that played in the league alongside Lebron and Jordan, that player will respect LeBron’s game, but they revere Jordan. Jordan was like a god on the court. Players would refuse to trash talk him when he was near as he would use that as motivation to torch them. No one does that with Lebron, when Lebron is in a tough scenario with a team he just up and leaves, that wasn’t the case with Jordan, it wasn’t the case with Kobe, nor a lot of other players that are considered all time greats.
      Jordan’s name has become synonymous with success and greatness even outside of basketball, Kobe’s name has become synonymous with great scoring, Curry’s name has become synonymous with great shooting. What has Lebron’s name become synonymous with?

    Sometimes I wonder how different the perspective of LeBron would be if he had been drafted to a team with decent management. Magic, Bird, Kobe, Kareem were all drafted into favorable situations. Yes, Jordan was drafted into an absolute shitshow but at least he had a competent front office to build around him. Meanwhile LeBron has owners saying no to prime Amare Stoudemire because they wanted to hold on to JJ freaking Hickson. All while Lebron's sheer talent kept his teams in pseudo-contention while at the same never allowing them to build through the draft.

    • @dodongheinz4527
      @dodongheinz4527 ปีที่แล้ว

      It wasn’t the owners, Stoudamire wouldn’t commit to the Cavs. It wasn’t worth gambling at that time due to Hickson’s potential. Stoudamire declined rapidly a few years after so I’m not too upset about it.

      @VVVY777 ปีที่แล้ว

      Correction, how *durable you have to be to amass raw counting stats. PARTICIPATION MEDAL.
      LeChina called himself the GOAT- confirming he isn't.
      No 3-peat, no 6 rings, but full of excuses, hypotheticals, what-ifs and participation medal statpadding due to longevity.
      I respect LeBron's basketball skill. I DO NOT respect how he's a low quality woman SugarBaby Hoe and coward and hyprocrite about his "activism" .....why does he never flap his woman mouth against China?

    totally agree with what is said on this video, since the beginning of his career there have been criticisms which for some were right but I have never seen a player hated so much. we make the joke that he has 4 prime but personality level that's the case, 1st visit to the cavs it's a lebron who is smiling but who is criticized as supposedly not clutch then his passage to the heat where the critics are there more and more frequent, the decision, that he will win 5 titles and his mockery towards dirk, all this will turn against him but it will serve him as a good lesson and he will prove the opposite later m, his 2nd transition to the cavs the criticisms are towards his role as gm because of him coach blatt is fired and does everything to play again with d wade but despite all that the fact of having fired his coach was not a mistake because with the another coach there is the title, the move to the Lakers the criticisms are because of his political opinions but whatever his choice with Hong Kong there would have been criticisms. the haters will always criticize him on the decision and for having proclaimed himself, the decision was the best and the worst of what happened to him.

      you can name me a few players who have been less criticism during their careers but on the other hand to prove the opposite after each criticism I have never seen that. on the goat debate with jordan whether we like it or not he will be more and more present even if as a lebron fan he will always stay in 2nd place maximum, but i will never understand those who put him barely in their top 5, we all know either a 5th ring or other NBA records broken a top 3 all time would be almost assured, at the moment the debate is on kareem more legendary than lebron yes or no, and that lebron he knows that to be in front of one ring or 2 more but above all to have other records would be a huge advantage to his legacy
