@@sailingpolaris I’m trying to pluck up the courage to purchase a live-aboard sailboat. It’s been almost twenty years since I sold my last boat. I just retired and I’m dreaming of sailing again! I’m watching copious amounts of sailing videos on TH-cam..
@@sailingpolaris Thanks for the encouragement. I sailed around Mexico, Cuba and Belize, etc, singlehanded for 4 years back in 2000-04 and I promised myself I wouldn’t do it alone again! I had a grand time and met so many wonderful people. I’m constantly looking for the “perfect rig”, if there is such a thing! It’s safe to say I’ll be going it alone again, even though I have a good friend who lives in NY who said she’ll join me when I get to a port/anchorage :)

But for us it is so totally worth it!
