- Los Angeles Police Officers (LAPD) responded to a call at Venice Beach on Sunday, June 23, 2024, involving a physical altercation between homeless individuals. Upon arrival, officers detained both individuals to investigate the incident.
After conducting their investigation, the officers arrested both individuals and transported them to jail. The incident underscores ongoing concerns about safety and conflict resolution among the homeless population in the Venice Beach area.

I understand people are homeless. But why does California & other states let people just sleep on the sidewalks? And why does the paying public have to put up with this nonsense & disrespect from homeless people?
That is what the democrat leaders in California call compassion. They allow them to sleep anywhere, the police aren't allowed to arrest them for public drug use, and the government even provides them with needles. Unfortunately, they don't care about the good, hardworking taxpayers who can't take their kids to the beach or park because homeless people are living in the public bathrooms or for fear of them finding used needles on the beach or park or having to deal with an unstable mentally ill person.

It’s because the people who run the organizations that provide everything to the homeless get paid millions a year to run them. Thats why they encourage homelessness just like they are illegals. I feel for the homeless who are good people. Too many homeless are not good people who need to be relocated to camps out in the desert. They can prove their worth by working their way back into society and being allowed to live with people who function. Were spending all this money and the problem getting worse.
