@@mattnik You seem to know that Simplex does not travel far as it is not repeated to communications. You LAPD, former or a guy who listens to police radio traffic?
The camera guy or gal reminds me of me when I film. The bottom to top pan legs up to the face and zooming in on concert shirts. I appreciate the stern talking to he gave the 47 year old gentleman. Woke him right out of his slumber.
And he was ready to sing like Mariah Carey, ready to rat out his associates. Clearly he is not "about that life", not made for it, so how come he didn't get the hint after doing time?
Those were the days we could still do Police work. Now it's different. I even walked a Foot Patrol for years, got to meet people One on One without a Police Car Shell. In 2000 it seemed like nothing but Cal to Call, no investigation time. Now it's all Computer this and that. I started in 1974 as a Dispatcher, 1977 went on the Street, 2010 retired. Hundreds and Hundreds of good contacts and nice people, then there were the Morons and then outright Criminals. Watched sooo many people take their last breath, Three Close Quarters Shootings at me. Numerous Pot Shots from the Projects. I miss the excitement of Radio Calls and Not Knowing what was around the next corner and staying Tactically prepared. Met some great Cops, knew some Criminal Cops, watched some Cops go to Prison Good Cops had to wear the Black Eye from the Bad Cops. Nasty Fast Food. So many changes in my PD now, I only know 4 or 5 people still there. Anyone remember "The New Centurions"? That was us. Where did all that time go?
Interesting - They tossed him fully at the pinch point, and then in the holding cell he has ROCK ???!!! Guess they reeeally think he can 'open the streets' (inform) for them...

They are human beings. Are first responders not entitled to stress release. Besides, she might have been on a break/lunch. Or are first responders not deserving of that luxury?
8:55 Wow, three different generations of crown vics in a row!
Good eye!
Beautiful
That and the Chevy caprice
They were Tanks compared to the other Cars. Caprice was a good car too.
Jezz looking at it now, it's like looking at past, present and future
I can't imagine this was filmed 25 years ago. 😢 Some of the cops here are probably now in their 60s or 70s.
Actually, one of them is now the interim chief of police. Dominic Choi.
I know. Time flies eh?
Shannon Reece is retired and lives in a tiny house 😇
My god pagers and caprice patrol cars….😂 I remember those days vividly
So do I. I carried two pagers, one alphanumeric pager, and one for my dad’s company and a big bag phone. Oh I feel old now.
@@RenegadeChauffeur lol my friend I’m with you and feel your pain….so does my knees and back 😂 🤦🏽♂️
I had a department issued pager when I first started and a flip phone😂

Me too. We had the caprice classic and pagers. Not even a car phone. If we were paged, we hunted up a payphone.

A snitch is a snitch.
Shannon seems like a narsicisst , she would rather be playing a cop 👮 then being a cop
This was a fine cast , crew and Producer !
Shannon has such a great sense of humor. She would be cool to work with.
Back in the days when criminals actually went to jail for more than a couple of hours….
I just watching these LAPD Episodes! This was filmed 24yrs ago!
I hope Mr. Woodrow is doing well today. He would be ~72 years old now
Wonder how Shannon looks these days.
Pretty sure she aged like milk.
