God this took me forever to learn I was on the piano for a good 7 hours I messed up so much it’s not perfect but I learned most of it god I am so happy if you want to learn this have lots of patience and try as hard as you can Bc when you get it, you will feel amazing and happy once you learn how to play such a beautiful piece! @@kylelandry Harmony, of course. The problem is, that to the best of my knowledge, these stacked accords have no harmonic sense. This only means, that my knowledge about harmony is still waaaaaaaaay to low ;)

It's D Major b9-- no inversion, no 7th, but root position, and it sounds so tragic because of the voicing of the chord. Normally the flatted 9th is at the top of the chord, but in this voicing it is placed next to a D, giving us that dissonant minor 2nd. ;)

I listened to other famous composers and was like "wow, this guy plays much better than these old people!". Now I think I "get" classical music a bit more, and realized that beauty does not reside in speed or in how many notes you can play at the same time. I realized your verions are unnecessarily charged and sometimes come out as immature and...kinda obnoxious...
You do realize this is the "Too Many Notes" series right? If I wanted to keep it simple and do the "less is more" thing, I would have! Besides, it's my way of the ninja. More notes is how I do things around here! I'm one of the people that find beauty in technique. So did many other composers such as Liszt, Chopin, Ravel, Rachmaninoff, and even Debussy and Beethoven at times. The main reason why we add so many notes is not unnecessary I'd say, at least not always. When I add a lot of notes, and play fast, etc. what I'm really trying to do is create an orchestra with just 10 fingers. That is the beauty of piano my friend. Perhaps you should keep studying! ^_^
