- Mercedes has followed up its EQS with a smaller version called the EQE.
With the 'E' in its name, this new model competes in the sector already occupied by the Mercedes E-Class - the executive market - but takes a lot from the larger EQS in styling, packaging and technology.
It is of course, a fully electric car with an impressive range and plush interior.
Is it a win or a miss? I headed to Frankfurt to find out.

I liked it until this week when I read that MB will charge a subscription of US$1200 for the owner to have all of the car’s performance built into the car at the factory. As stupid as BMW charging a subscription for heated seats. Hard no.
Your information is wrong regarding the EQC , it is not based on petrol car. EQC is the first electric made from ground up
No, it is based on the GLC.
I like it a lot, but the price is way too much and that pisses me off , I don't understand why electric cars are so expensive

However Mercedes service changing motor 1 then motor 2 then the whole battery then the recuperation system of my EQC was brilliant 100😂. Three mercedes cars, One mistake never again mercedes ev.

Problem with Mercedes along with many "luxury" German brands is that everything looks great and seems well made at first but when something goes wrong the dealer service is not what you should expect from a luxury brand and after a few years things will go wrong and fall apart. Don't waste your money. Even a top line KIA gives a better luxury ownership experience than a Mercedes. I do miss the days when Mercedes lived up to their slogan "the best or nothing". and built the best engineered cars in the world.
That’s because of all the extra features cars nowadays have. If you wanted the old timer quality for the same price you’d have to get rid of a lot.
Long ago Mercedes used to be in a similar price range or just below rolls royce, but that wasn’t financially viable. If you still want a luxury Mercedes you could just get an S Class or Maybach tho
Also dealer service is usually good in my experience
Less fugly than the EQS but still uninspiring design (like Tesla, just another blob on wheels).
