I am not sure why people are so surprised about Seenu sir. Actually his name was a regular in ARR cds/cassette inlays. Older gen people like me would know because we used to buy cds and cassettes back then. Nowadays gen wont know because CDs and Cassette market has died. Sadly Digital music field does not really emphasise on mentioning these musicians names in the website and such. People just click on download and it goes to their mp3 players and thats it. And its worth mentioning that Musicians names started appearing in CDs/cassettes only after A.R.Rahman started that trend in India. From this interview we can clearly see the impact of the late MSV sir and ARR in music world. God bless them and their families always. Seenu sir, Naveen sir, Kabuli sir, Keith Peters sir, etc etc are all gems of music world.

Back to his story, To be frank Harris is a very cunning man in this sense. He is now claiming he composed music for ARR's songs. ARR composing style is very orthodox and different at the same time. Back in the 60s, composers used to compose tunes and pass it to their assistants to come up with the music structure for it. Its part of composing that time. ARR back in his 90s interviews have mentioned his dad used to do this; build the music structure for other composers tunes. While doing this, ARR build his assistants by letting them putting in their input into his songs as well other than just playing the notes he gives. Cant deny Harris have contributed some bits to ARRs songs, for instance the gibberish rendition in the second interlude of Thirupatchi Aruvale - Taj Mahal, the Christian chant in Mudhalvane song. Watch Pravin Mani's interviews. He will clearly explain how assistants work with ARR songs. And mind you Pravin Mani has worked with ARR more than Harris. Ranjit Barot, Joshua Sridhar all did the same job. Listen to their albums, they have the similar style of ARR aswell. They including Harris are influenced by ARR style and not the other way around. My arguement to this is supported by Harris songs. Listen from Minnale to Anniyan, those have heavy ARR's influence to it. After Unnale2 till now, these are Harris own style.
