    *FORMULA*

How high do you increase the rpm on your new advanced timing mark? Is it calculated by the beginning of the power band of the engine?
Also, once you advance the timing at the beginning of the power band to reach the new "advanced timing mark " , is the "idle" timing considered mute?
    Thanks

GM 602 race engine. Put a Coleman 6” ultra light dampener on a 602 it has a heavy 8” can’t find a timing pointer that will work w a 6” dampener. It has 0 and all timing marks on the outside but the damn timing pointer is so far Away from it and am having hard time trusting those
arms on the new dampener ..

Will going from a 8” to a 6” dampener effect timing. I feel once I swapped from 8”-6” timing that it was way way advanced could that happen ??
