- If you’re on the hunt for a scale RC crawler kit, that will be a fun challenging build and a capable rig when complete, look no further than the G-Made GS02F Buffalo kit found here: snp.link/a015f75e . Gmade has been offering some exciting off-road RC kits for some time now, but they put a massive effort into their new GS02F build up kit, spending a lot of time researching what RC crawler enthusiasts want in a kit. We were excited to get our hands on one to build up and test. Building took a while, but was an enjoyable build. The body that comes with the kit isn’t licensed but looks great when finished. Then out on the trail, the rig looks great and performs… well you’ll need to see the video. We’re not going to spill all the details here. We will say GMade did good here and was certainly worthy of the time we put into this review and this video will certainly be worthy of your time if you’re interested in seeing what GMade has to offer.

To be honest to axles look like The Wraith axles chassis looks like axial SCX10 I don't need to go on nice looking truck but it looks like it was fun together not from you from a manufacturer you really don't say nothing bad either

I really like this kit. I like that G Made has come up with a new kit from scratch. It's on my short list for new trucks. Plus a really cool trailing spot in the drive drive part of the video!
That terrain was really beautiful. You forgot to mention that it comes with overdrive stock out of the box.
Is overdrive where the front and rear axles have slightly different gear ratios?
At one point, it sounded like he said there were lockers (in the axles) are they selectable?
Wow! That was really impressive! I don’t think I ever saw any wheel spin in all of the climbing that you did. And what a great looking set of tires paired with the old Chevy blazer body! Definitely one that I might consider. Thanks for the great video!

Thanks for the great review . Love the look of the buffalo nice choice in colors to. I almost bought a g made a few years ago and am happy I waited . I ordered my truck on Monday from my favorite hobby shop. Really looking forward to adding a gmade to our fleet .
It is nice to see a solid kit from Gmade. I know Traxxas and Axial get all the love, but some good competition would be nice. Just wish I had got the HPI Venture builder's kit before they disappeared.
HRP has some Venture kits I think.

I think you didn't mention that the transmission comes with overdrive. It's 14.29% stock. The TTR trasmisión also eliminates torque twist completely. I am currently building my kit. Just need to paint the body and mount all the accessories. I am seriously considering getting softer springs to improve the articulation. I also went with Treal beadlock wheels to lower the CG :) I'm loving it so far. Not bad for a first build also ;)

@@brysonkuhn3290 I know the prices have gone up, mine needed a full body off resto and the motor needed a top end rebuild, I just didn’t have the time to do it. When I bought a new duramax, I ran out of excuses to keep it.

Looks good, and looks like it performs well...I don't own any G-made but from what I see and read they look like nice products.
I love the color scheme. Mine is on it's way. Need to add the lights and interior with drive for the wow factor.

Always love your content. Know you're in a new studio but thought you would be able to fix the audio sooner. You'll get that hollow room sound gone eventually. You rock!
The studio is temporary. Major changes coming soon and it should fix the echo. It’s taken longer than I wanted. Trust me, the echo drives me insane and I can’t even fix it with audio filters. I’m not that good of an editor.

Have my eye on this and SSD Trail King. Either way want Blazer body. Overall Gmade looks decent, except the pot metal gears used and potentially some issues with driveshafts they used. Haven’t come across anyway to upgrade them either.

You mentioned adding a little weight. Have you ever done that one car? What did you use?
Did you find the tyres are "glittery" they were in my Bom kit! I contacted the distributer and was told thats normal. washing and scrubbing does not remove it!!!!
Had that metal glitter on my Losi Baja Rey tires but it did wash off🤷
Real trucks also has chassis flex when lifting on opposite wheels front and back. The chassis flex on ford f-250 super duty is pretty hilarious. People make picture memes of it😄 lexan mounting system gmade use may actually improve the chassis stiffness.
No bump-steer on my steering of my GMADE GS02(F) MILITARY !!
- It is better than my "stock" SCX10 II bump-steer, which probably is.....
about 4% of the max steering-throw capability. Although I have modified my panhard-bar location for a (more level) & less short radius movement.
😁 And the servo arm (IF) thin enough, to clear the panhard on (both) same upper panhard mounts,
is do-able when servo mount 1 set of servo spacers are used between servo and plastic servo frame mount !! I would suggest to anyone that owns either GS02/F & SCX10 II, to set your radio end-points !!

i never built a RC or a model, how hard is it? are the instructions good or is it a guessing game?
Did you vent the tires to remove the water?
The standard axle input can be swapped to optional parts if you don't like to run stock gmade drive shafts. part number GM30101 on gmade.net website. Then you get the same style inputs as the outputs on on gearbox. Option parts is only 7$.

For a newbie, would you recommend trx4 or gmade?
Trx 4 was a super easy build, my 3rd build. I wanna try this one next, seems more complicated as far as parts go, the trx4 had individual bags for each step made it super easy with a limited build space
Hey I’m new to RC cars and I got a 2 wheel drive Traxxas Stampede a while back, it’s a brushed motor. The motor will run but it makes a very loud scratching noise and the wheels won’t turn. Any tips on how I could fix it?
Probably stripped the spur gear or pinion. The pinion gear is the little one on the motor and the spur is the bigger one connected to it.
Hope this helped. Also try trail trucks/crawlers, way more fun and durable than the go fast RCs, i advise the traxxas trx4 sport, BADASS rig.
Try to use different mike for video, maybe mike that you clip to clothes on you? Auto focus noise is annoying :) Other than that great job!
I wish for leave springs optional.

The flex is ridiculous most are putting few pounds of twist through their hands to demonstrate the chassis flex. Um really think the car is exhibiting that much twist?😝. Not picking on you your review is great thanks

Phillips head screws was only used inside the body. Not a single phillips screw on the chassis.
After assembling the kit and installing electronics that you have to buy separately, the car is more expensive than a Traxxas and of poorer quality. This brand should improve its prices a lot or it will disappear

I was wondering about that. A year or two back, I got and built a TRX4, all I needed was a body (paint) and batteries (charger).

Holmes Hobby trial master sport 21 turn is great motor $20. I put in the 2wd traxxas slashes. Ball Bearing Output shaft they run cooler and last 10X longer than Titan motors. they also can handle 3s.
