  • Welcome back to the Fan Debate, sponsored by Sky Bet, with Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.
With The Traitors star Harry Clark on board, we debate who are the Premier League’s biggest traitors.
Joined by Premier League fans from up-and-down the country, our team decide who ranks number one traitor as a player and manager in Premier League history.
From Sol Campbell, Peter Schmeichel and Carlos Tevez joining local enemies to Emmauel Adebayor, Robin van Persie and Jose Mourinho switching to rival clubs, Who do you think deserves to be ranked as the biggest traitor?
Lastly we talk about who are the best and worst owners in the Premier League; who do you think is the divisions best and worst run club?

'Pigeons and chessboards' springs to mind. That's why Steve was 100% right to remind him, there has been no verdict. UEFA were shown to have no evidence at CAS, the majority of Etihad stuff was judged on. Anything that wasn't judged on it's disingenuous(and stupidly convenient) to claim 'ah that timebarred one would have been the one they could prove' why? Because plenty of stuff was judged on if you bothered to read the report, a PATTERN WAS ESTABLISHED in how UEFA came to their verdicts in their not so independent arbitration. They hadn't done the due diligence, they hadn't governed their own regulations in accordance with swiss law. That goes for meeting the bare minimum standard of proof for their verdicts and also knowing what was time barred. The inclusion of time barring was a legal requirement based off of swiss law too.

    - City consistently have to give away free tickets to school kids and RAF staff in order to fill their relatively small capacity stadium
    - Citys sponsors are owned by family members of Citys owners, which is literally the definition of related party transactions (IAS international accounting standard rule 24).
    - City are reporting greater commercial revenue than Real Madrid, per their annual published club accounts.
    - The Prem have literally charged city for 115 breaches of rules that city agreed to operate within, which includes breaches of financial reporting accuracy and lack of cooperation.
Each of these 4 points are facts and based on public information, and it doesn't take sherlock holmes to connect these dots up and draw the conclusion that city are guilty.
Until evidence of the contrary is provided this will quite rightly remain to be the case.

34:44 they're not mutually exclusive mate. A foreign state could come through on promises of investment on and off the field, AND be cheating at the same time. It's really not that difficult to compute. Being ambitious and serious about winning, doesn't mean you're not a cheat. Cheating, especially on your alleged scale, is driven by ambition; more specifically (amongst other motivations such as desperation, and residual benefits like prizemoney) a desire to be PERCEIVED as the best, not necessarily to be the best. You don't tend to see cheats that are indifferent about winning. You won't see the skinny gamer nerd cheat in PE class, because why would they care? If we followed your line of logic, the Glazers are more likely to be cheats than City Group, and even you would admit that's a pretty nonsensical idea to reconcile.
It's like saying you trust Lance Armstrong because he started the Livestrong charity. You don't have to like it, but you need to accept that everyone with half a brain cell and not connected with City, can put 2 and 2 together and decide that your owners are likely a collection of cheating scumbags. People can tell that things don't add up, and the more charges that add up, the less things add up about your supposed legitimacy.
When you factor in where you started from and the financial rules you've had to abide by, your footballing and financial success been far too meteoric. It doesn't. Add. Up.
This is what riles everyone about your fanbase, because you lack the spine to at least concede that your club has a case to answer. And your counter-evidence? *Bangs fist on the table* - "BECAUSE I LOVE MY CHAIRMAN". It's very odd behaviour.

Not tenable really, some clubs are in small markets, some are in leagues where the team has no impact, one country the football fans prefer foreign football then local . Some clubs have small league presence and also other sports are more popular. In your opinion- which is what the red mafia want! They can’t compete in any other way so this is what they’re left with- using their premier league puppet to throw as much mud as possible!

@@Adamjames123 yes in his opinion, and in the opinion of 99% of football fans. I would hate for my clubs success to not be respected by 99% of the sports spectators.

@hyywe240 footyleaks leaked a lot of stuff about the tax fraud done by Messi and Ronaldo for which they were sentenced to jail and they didn't serve it.
They also leaked info about Ronaldos rape case which was untrue allegedly. They leaked PSG's shaddy deals, Liverpool hacking city's computers, shade on UEFA president and many more. Most of these has been proven false allegedly.

It's a pity his Manchester City ceased to exist some time ago, then. All he has to support now is the name which is used as a shell by a sportswashing state. The 'fans' are simply useful idiots now. Apologists for a despotic state that's using them for political ends.

I was at the Adebayor celebration game, Arsenal fans being racist towards him and his family for the whole game - best celebration ever.
