I have an old doll house I've been wanting to re-do and you have been just the perfect inspiration to get me moving. There's something magical about miniatures isn't there ? Blessings to you and your family and pets.
You've read my mind! I am in the middle of writing a blog article about the appeal of and potential magical use of dollshouses /miniature worlds. I've long been a believer in the magical potential of play, creating/crafting, using ones imagination etc., and it's connection to what some call 'chaos magic' or 'law of attraction' or, as I like to call it 'dreaming it in'. Thanks for another great post. 🌟🧡
Hello Tylluan, hope you're well. I enjoy collecting large baby dolls and restoring them as a hobby. It is very important to enjoy the things that give you joy, and not to become side tracked on things that distract us from enjoying life more. Media, news etc etc can become quite depressing, and to have a hobby and interest can bring calm and positive feelings. Thank you Tylluan.
I agree Tracy! I have totally blocked mainstream media its a type of psychological abuse, mind control and brain washing in my humble opinion, all corrupt to the core! Your hobby sounds lovely!
What a lovely listen this was. Just the perfect escape for me and my flu bug. Thank you for perfectly blending together wisdom, information, calm and solice in these little chats
This video was especially interesting to me as I recently obtained the plans for a Tudor style doll house. I've never built anything miniature before, am excited to give it a go! Thanks for another lovely video. ❤
Thank you for sharing…you have just reminded me of my childhood memories where I would take a cardboard box and decorate the inside make chairs and table ..used to keep my little wooden troll inside…now you have inspired me to build my dream wizards castle!
My childhood dollshouse had little trolls in it too! And small ceramic animals. Never was one for dolls really. You should definitely make another one👍😊
I agree. I started making miniatures about 3 years ago and bought an old dolls house which I'm in the process of transforming. It can be a very slow process and it's totally absobing - sometimes frustrating. I find it helps focus my mind and also gives a sense of achivement too. My favourite things to make/transform are stone walls covered in moss and old kitchens with open fireplaces. Have you been to Plas Mawr in Conwy? It's an Elizabethan townhouse and the kitchen is absolutely amazing, the most beautiful open fireplace I've ever seen.
Great video, Tylluan, i build and paint minitures myself. D&D crafts, it's helped me escape the harsh realities of this world and go to places where there are dragons and faefolk. Imagine how joyful i felt when i converted to witchcraft and discovered the truth, lol Thanks for sharing, ❤✌️
Tylluan you described so well what I've experienced visiting old homes in New Orleans and other areas in southern Louisiana, USA. and even outdoors on a street in our city - there are moments when I feel the past - the people and animals and things - in the present. Have no idea what that is; I assume it's an "overly active imagination" - except that I'm not trying to imagine anything when it happens. It lasts only a few seconds, and is both jarring and moving at the same time. I've always loved miniatures but could never articulate why. You did - thank you!
Hello Tylluan lovely to see you x I have always loved the Tudor and Elizabethan history but never seen a doll's house or miniatures of the period. Thank you for a very interesting video 🌼

They are basically just replicas of the style and not actual Tudor toys or models. But they are so much fun. :-)
@@tylluanpenry3233 I did think they would be replicas , they must be hard to find though x sounds lovely 🌼
