I've been devouring every Sea Power video I can find, and this is actually the first custom scenario I've seen that involves a clash between two carrier battle groups
@@decker9911hg it really was, season 3 started a small downfall when they started killing off a lot of people (especially Tex) and the final season with Columbia somehow having an Iowa class Battleship and kind of weak ending.
Very well executed steps of a carrier alpha strike. The only significant issue I would raise is the flight of CAP goes up first before the AWACS from the carrier or airbase. CAP, AWACS, Jam, strike, and manage sortie rotation so your forces don't get caught all going to RTB and the AI suddenly decides it is a good idea to do a massive secondary air sortie wave. In player vs player multiplayer, players tend to lose these scenarios because the initial engagement doesn't bring a decisive victory but a drug out battle of attrition. In that dragged out fight, they don't pay attention to managing sortie coverage and get caught with aircraft out of weapons and short on fuel without any replacements airborne.
been watching you since the early Dayz since I was like a teen. Now 27, and watching you. This video revived my love for your videos since your Day Z helicopter pilot videos. Wish you well Devil. Honestly this video was sick and so cool to watch and learn how the missiles and ships/aircraft work. So absolutely cool. Honestly good to see you still producing videos Devil. Still subbed for years.
Note on the submarine. Cavitation is heavily dependent on water density, hence depth. Ordering ahead full or flank while still relatively shallow can cause the submarine to cavitate until it reaches deeper water, which will broadcast your position to everyone. Best bet is to order the new depth and do a very small increase in speed, then once you are deeper, you can ring up ahead full.

One of the biggest mods (literally as far as size of the item in question goes) someone needs to add is the Typhoon class SSBN. Apparently its not in the base game.
Devs don't want nuclear weapons in game, the Typhoon class subs only job was to carry nuclear weapons, sure it had torpedoes but if a Typhoon is in a sub-to-sub duel it's FUBAR already. If the Typhoon is making it into the game, it's going to be a mod.
@@stevenreddy6842 It does have it's place as a high value asset that requires protection. I could see in a dynamic campaign sinking the Delta SSBN already in the game as a political objective you have to achieve to win the campaign.
The format is a lot like the ancient (1989) MS-DOS video game, “Harpoon”. Much better graphics, more control (load out etc.) and much smarter AI. And, one hopes, a lot fewer bugs. A good addition to the video game options.
I've been watching all the videos I can on this game: Wolfpack345, Stealth17, Jingles & Jive Turkey. It looks good for the November release. You can definitely see the Cold Waters influence.
