I realised after that I made the end of this mission harder by not using the Sovremenny missiles. Great mission though! Thanks to Cent for putting the campaign together.
It happens. I forgot aircraft existed before so...yeah:(

It bugs me that the Yak-38s immediately break off after firing their MCLOS missiles. It would be incredibly impractical to try and guide them without maintaining course.

15:02 The moment you snaped to your aircraft carrier you can see an explosion at a distant from the squad you destroyed. Thats cool to see.
You should set weapon free on your fighter if you want them to attack enemy automatically, and remember that when you order them to attack a target, they will revert back to weapon tight order
@GiangNg320 Whilst it is more micro I prefer to manually use my aircraft because it means they get shot down a lot less often.

The Yak-38 had hilariously short operating ranges but this was a perfect use scenario using them for CAP and anti-ship attacks.
I really enjoy these videos! But the AI is a bit pathetic. The Tarawa didn’t launch a single harrier. They just sat there and waited to get sunk.
yeah unfortunately enemy AI usage of carriers right now is a little wonky but the devs have stated that they are actively working on it
I just precieved it as the Tarawa being caught off guard as Vulcan took the initiative fast and was able to ID the NATO forces before they could. He was constantly shooting down their scouts.
@@adamtruong1759 Its a known issue with the AI. It will often be very passive. The AI system needs an overhaul.
Such a great looking game.
I would've found it funny if there also happened to be a random US carrier group protecting those ships.

I think they can fail but probably a bug haha
Kilauea -> killa-way-ah. A volcano in Hawaii. Blame the missionaries for the spelling not matching the pronunciation.
