- Adam is finally back to competitions after THIS European Championships Munich 2022 where he took the silver 🥈 medal.
We'll be able to see him compete later today at the Semifinals of IFSC Prague Boulder World Cup.

He’s discussed why he’s not a huge fan of modern boulders, people just like to watch big explosive movements, and those movements are really great on the muscles, plus he says it’s funner to figure out the moves on your own rather than have 3 holds and like one way to do it.
ive seen this man climb a smooth concrete 90* corner without cracks, slits, bolts, holes or any other hold... just pure palm and foot grip by pressing in from 2 sides on a smooth as baby bottom obstacle.
If youre talking about the btidge then that wasnt 90°. Still hella impressive though

I have the power to weight ratio of a pumpkin trifle but, I love watching climbing stuff. Adam Ondra is another level. Question; That final move, is that what the route setters had in mind, or is there another way to solve that particular problem?
No it? As planned to be done super dynamic but Adam hats pure power dynamic climbing and he doesn't do it out of principle.
It's really interesting to watch Ondra do bouldering comps. Indoor bouldering problems always seem super dynamic unless they're a slab. Ondra style is very static and he's crazy strong so he is able to do the "incorrect" beta in order to fit his style.
Pull up to the top, grab it with the hand inverted while palm down on the bottom volume, then step a foot up, then second hand to the top

I really dislike how much of modern bouldering feels like parkour. But its great to see people finding different beta like this.
Incredible climbing skills aside, dude has like, zero fall damage lol.
I hate what modern sport climbing has become. How insane is it that the very best climbers in the world essentially can't even compete in top 5? Bouldering is so so gym Dyno mess nowadays. It just makes me sad is all. Don't even get me started on the Olympics. I like it's getting more recognition, but they're changing it just for the mainstream.
