Then playing Bethesdas Fallouts and going bad to poorly written dialogue and only a few bad to mediocre voice actors. It's a shame they couldn't get the voice actors back after the dlcs, but it's understandable that they didn't have the budget. There's very few games made these days which have anywere near this amount of love and care put into them, especially from AAA studios.
I love how they made good use of them but didn't involve them in the advertising for the game, so their performances stand on their own together with the overall game. I don't know if they knew how well it would age but boy did it

@boma7963 In terms of 3d fallout games NV is the most pure game in the sense that it's true to the original lore from fallout 1 and 2. Fallout 3 has a direct path, like fallout 4, and IDEK where to begin with fallout 76. Bethesda completely changed fallout from little intricacies like molerats to the psykers, re-using the enclave and BOS in fallout 3 and completely ruining both factions, so on. Lol

He didn't hide that fact, we all have addictions and downsides and problems, but he worked hard to fight it and let us know everything. It really gives you a different perspective on the show Friends, because he was doing loads of drugs during the early seasons. Which explains why he was so damn skinny...I was heartbroken when I heard Perry died.
He wouldn't even be in the series in any way or mentioned in such a light until he was dead. Y'all aren't doing this with the living voice actors. He's also ironically dead because no one was there for him at his lowest. He would have still ended up in that tub and society only cares when you're dead and gone when it's way too late. What’s really cool is that there’s so many recognizable people voicing these people, including one of the main characters from friends, but none of them were even recognizable as themselves, they all provided amazing and immersive voice work and made one of, if not the best games of all time. Perry also gave Ellen Degeneres a copy of the game, which ultimately led to his role in Fallout: New Vegas.
He understood the assignment perfectly and expressed his love for the franchise through it. FO3 is my first love, but New Vegas holds a special place now. 💖
I knew about Ron Perlman and Danny Trejos years ago, just recently found out about Mathew Perry, but I had NO IDEA how many people I recognize as actors and performers that voiced characters in this game!!! It will always be my favorite fallout game, I don't think they will ever recreate the charm and open ended choices you can make, man I wish I could get this game for the first time again😂😂😂

Dorn (Worf), Sadler (Agent Sloan), and Auberjonois (Odo) were probably my three favorite characters in Star Trek: Deep Space 9, and I had no idea Dorn or Sadler voiced characters in a game I played for probably 500 hours. If Mr. House hadn't sounded a lot like Odo, I might not have noticed Auberjonois' voice either.
Technically that was the Courier, but I really wish we'd had the option to work with him. He kinda had a redemption arch, so a team-up would've been interesting. Especially with a female Courier. *fanfic alert!*

I'm a mostly JRPG guy but New Vegas is one of the tops. Not even FO4 hook me like NV does. If I really want to find fault with it, it's that it came out during the brown age of gaming, it's a bit too brown for my liking at times.
